Community and The Big Bang Theory were each adjusted up a tenth, while Person Of Interest and Elementary were eachadjusted down a tenth among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Thursday broadcast ratings.

So The Vampire Diaries only scored 0.1 demo point higher than Arrow and Supernatural this week.
Martine, what are you talking about?CD was sready at 0.5_0.6 for its first three episodes and this week got a 0.7 without a lead in,b etter than HoD,better than BatB with the best leadin on the network.CD wont get pulled, but its first season will have only 13 episodes .BatB is doing bad considering its got VD,the best biggest leadin and cant keep of its audience and lost half of its its audience between pilot and episode three where CD rose in episode fpur and yes HoD is steady.Yes Beauty is steady but at numbers that got SC cancelled last season and still jas the harfest tesy coming_spring rstings where it could fall more. CW didnt renew SC and move it on the liklehood its ratings would fall without VDs leadin,plus likley being moved to Fri and they may not want to it with BatB.Beauty has already got a 0.5 like CD ,yet you say CD is doing aeful and BatB is doing great(though they both rose from the 0.5).Im sure CW was hoping for better for BatB with the best leadin and lots of promotion, but the same could could be said for CD.
@POI/TM was a strong pair last season … don’t known why CBS moveed the Mentalist from Thur to Sun.
Even worse, they put TM after TGW … It’s a miracle that TM is still alive.
TRUE! CBS made too many mistakes this season. If FOX has good shows next season and with super bowl it will deserve to win #1 spot.

POI is doing just fine. I do not get all the negative comments. This is 2nd year show that is up against a show that has been on for years. I’d say they are doing quite well. Elementary is what it is. I do not think CBS is fretting that much over it. CBS is doing quite well over all. You can’t be tops on every night, just like the other networks have their struggles on other nights.
I REALLY hope Community doesn’t drop too much these next couple of weeks. This 1.9 rating is phenomenal. Very proud of Parks and Rec too!

CBS needs to move Elemetary to Tuesday and replaces Vegas. When it is not aired against Scandal, Elemetary can do 2.5-6; it’s against Scandal that’s not making it perform better. I think it’s because the show is not serielized like Scandal, so there’s no urgency to watch when it airs. Just look at the 7-day PVR number, it shoots up at least 1.1 week after week. This means that the 18-49 demo is recording it to watch it, but just not at the night when Scandal is airing. If it moves to Tuesday, it will definitely thrive. It’s really a good show, I think CBS knows it hence all the promotions.
@I think the main reason Elementary is not a smash hit like CBS wants it to be is because of the promos. They are pretty awful and make the show seem like a total joke. They should make the promos more intriguing and dark; instead the promos feel like they are for a Moonlighting reboot and not a show about the greatest DETECTIVE in literary history. The show is NOT a romantic comedy so stop marketing it like that. Just my two cents.
If heavy promotion before and during super bowl and super bowl lead-in can’t help Elementary no one can.

There are logic on that opinion but most if not all cbs dramas are procedurals. And is too late to bring back TM on thursdays so CBS should put something at 10. Also if they move Elementary now after so many and heavy promotion they will look really stupid.
If Community can maintain ratings like this against Big Bang Theory, it might make sense for NBC to renew it.
Since The Big Bang Theory isn’t going away on its own next Fall, anything that’s scheduled against it will certainly suffer a competitive hit. Comedies especially. If Community holds onto ratings like this and is reasonably cheap to produce, adding episodes to its post-run inventory wouldn’t be dumb thing to do.
Also, if NBC extends Community’s run, it could be played as a favorable outcome for them in the Harmon vs. network conflict. NBC could say that even though they fired Community’s creator, the show continued on as plucky and semi-successful as ever. So NBC would arguably have a something of a right to claim that they “won” the conflict. Other producers would understand a message like that.
And this year might be a breakout year for some of the talent. (i.e. unless Mad Men wastes its chance with Alison Brie, etc.) If that happens, it’s even possible that Community’s ratings might go up a little bit.
BATB and HOD are both doing fine they are consistent. I think they will get renewed. But TCD getting one good week means nothing. Before the 0.7 it got 0.4/0.5′s. We’ll see how it does this Monday and the rest of the remaining episodes.
And @Wanda Dixon what negative comments are you talking about? most of the comments are pretty positive. I think some people are just saying that it can do better but overall POI is a sure fire hit and incredible show!

I’m not really surprised at the lack of a SB bump for Elementary, the SB episode was the worst of the season so far. If they were after younger viewers, they should have aired an episode involving Moriarty, the one from last Thursday perhaps.
Sam, it had no 0.4s, two 0.5s, one 0.6 so its on par with BatB,HoD but yes well have to wait and see.
has anyone noticed that all of the abc shows hit lows and scandal seems to be the only abc show to hit highs. i think scandal is keeping all of the other abc shows down. if scandal was on another network all of the abc shows would have better ratings. seriously its keeping all of the shows that showv is so full of itself
