TNT's Franklin & Bash Kicks Off Production on Season 3

TNT's Light-Hearted Legal Drama Stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer,
With New Cast Member Heather Locklear

TNT's Franklin & Bash has begun production on what is certain to be a memorable third season. Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer star in the popular legal drama, which this season will welcome new cast member Heather Locklear.TNT has 10 episodes on tap for the third season of Franklin & Bash, which is scheduled to launch this summer.

TNT's Franklin & Bash stars Breckin Meyer as Jared Franklin and Mark-Paul Gosselaaras Peter Bash, two young, fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants street lawyers who caused a seismic culture clash when they joined a legendary, button-down law firm. Jared loves s ticking it to authority every chance he gets. Peter, meanwhile, has a knack for connecting with judge and jury any way he can. This season, Heather Locklear joins the Franklin & Bash cast as Rachel King, the firm's newest partner. She's a stunning trial lawyer with stiletto heels and clothes tailored within an inch of their life. Malcolm McDowell returns as Renaissance man Stanton Infeld, the brilliant and eccentrically spontaneous patriarch of the law firm. Also starring are Reed Diamond, Dana Davis and Kumail Nanjiani.

In its second season last summer, Franklin & Bash averaged 4.3 million viewers, up 10% over its first season. The buddy drama also averaged 1.8 million adults 18-49 and 2.0 million adults 25-54.

Franklin & Bash is produced by Four Sycamore Productions, Left Coast Productions and FanFare Productions in association with Sony Pictures Television. Jamie Tarses, Jason Ensler, Kevin Falls, Matthew McGuinness and Bill Chais serve as executive producers.

I hate to admit that I’ve watched this show, but mostly because there isn’t much on in the summer. I think adding Locklear was a bad idea though.

  • jase

I agree. Her recent track record isn’t good and I doubt she will be able to add anything new/exciting to the show.

I have never seen the show but I will certainly watch now! #Locklear

  • cimmer

Oh oh, Heather Locklear, the ‘original’ Jeri Ryan. ;)

  • Jon Jones

They should have added Jeri Ryan!!..Locklear’s face looks like a$$…

I think this was a good choice. This show has the ability to breath new life into cancerous (to ratings) actors. Breckin Meyer was known as a show killer forever. In fact he was in the worst show ever made, Inside Schwartz, and somehow he is glorious in Franklin & Bash. I am looking forward to see Heather does in this show.
