Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

So sad the state of NBC that everyone is delighted with a 1.8 for Community. Really too bad how far this network has fallen.

  • Snoot

    TBBT!!!

  • LOUIS

Revenge has made what Scandal is making on the demo lots of TIMES, with The Walking Dead airing

    HELLOOOOO

  • Dillan

And B&TB has gone back to being likely canceled with a 0.6 from its huge lead in.

  • Adam

Grey’s Antaomy (of the 3.1) runs two minutes into the 10 oclock hour.
Actually, ABC didn’t do the overrun last night, ending Grey’s and starting Scandal right at 10.

  • BigBrotherFan

Looks like CBS lame attempt to make Elementry stick failed pretty bad. Heads must be rolling today.

Holy GREAT for Parks!!!! (Season High?)! Thats awesome! love this show.

HA! I was dead on with my prediction on DO NOT HARM. DEAD ON. 2 FOR 2 Thanks to my prediction for SMASH haha

    Cancelation coming in 3….2…..1….

Glee continues to make a great ARGUMENT for it’s impending cancelation. lol

SCANDAL! AWESOME! AMAZING! LOVE THIS SHOW (NOT MORE THAN NASHVILLE OR THE FOLLOWING) But damn great entertainment non-the-less. Look foward to Thursday now! I am truly liking Fitz now. A whole new demension to his otherwise dim, passive, controlled person before. Great episode! Its only gonna go up from here

…I guess congrats are in order to @MAX here. lol

…I would also like to add I was DEAD ON with my prediction for 1600 PENN…wow! I’m good at this.

  • Flame

Like I said yesterday, if Idol loses much 2.5 Men has a fighting chance. Most likely it will lose to Idol by 0.1 after adjustments, but a preliminary tie is a great effort. And TBBT distancing Idol by 2 whole rating points? WHOA!

Elsewhere, Do no Harm did no harm again and Elementary did not get much boost from the Superbowl, but that was pretty much expected. The show will still be renewed.

  • HalCapone

Elementary will be moved to Fridays next year, it’s final year.

  • Jenk

NBC was trying to push all their new comedies and could care less about Community. Well now Community looks like it’s going to pull better numbers than the new comedies. It is like Chuck all over again. The network hates it, but the show has a solid fan base and is getting better ratings than most of the comedies. SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE!!!

  • Ram510

YES SCANDAL!!!!! Not a 3.0 yet but a new high!!! So happy and it was an excellent episode, can’t wait for next week

  • Billy

CBS has to be really unhappy that Elementary only got a .1 bump from its Super Bowl showing.

  • Win

    Hmm…when TVD falls, BatB falls…
& it got beat by the TCD.
Shame on it, Hod, and 90210 for getting beat by that garbage. Just shame.

  • tom

where are all the people who said bbt only hit 6s when they had no competition?

  • SarahL

Scandal sustaining its gains is very impressive. It has finally built its audience. ABC must be thrilled. Good to see Grey’s rebound, but I was bored by last night’s episode and turned to Person of Interest for the first time ever. TBBT is a monster.

  • JONNYSBRO

OMG Scandel last night blew my mind. This is the best show on TV by a mile. I hope Shonda, Kerry and everyone involved are nominated. I swear I never was so engrossed by an hour of TV. Is this not the BEST SHOW ON TV? It has me riveted like no other show. Please ABC I don’t just want a third season, I want a fourth, fifth and sixth as well. Its crazy how this show premiered so late was so on the bubble. ABC renewed this one over GCB. ABC made the right choice. Shonda Rhimes you have A HOT SHOW SIZZLING.

American Idol did well against Big Bang Theory. Those ratings are still strong against the juggernaut. It still did in the early 4’s in the ratings. Honestly if I were FOX I would move Idol back to Tuesday-Wednesday next year to avoid the BBT monster.

  • Max Vrany

  • Just

Scandal has yet to hit Revenge’s series high, even with low competition

    *laughs*
