Rachels on fire!!!!Well her pants are.
Ok, lets all sit and wait to hear all the excuses as to why the MSNBC Friday numbers are so bad! I am sure that it is the fault of FOX or the old FOX viewers, or Big Foot, or maybe MSNBC was just giving FOX a break.
Either way they got their butt kicked!! but I am sure comedians Stewart and Colbert made up for it by kicking cable news’ Bill’s butt!
WOW! CNN blew the roof off MSNBC’s line-up Friday. Was MSNBC even on? OWWWCHHH!
That’s got to really hurt for the people in Studio 3A.
@Ratboy,
It was the snow storm. The Fox viewers who normally go out Friday night had to stay in. That explains CNN numbers too because people wanted to hear about the weather.
I think it goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway. Fox News rules all day and all night, but Greta was beaten in demo by CNN’s Anderson Cooper.
@Cathy: The snowstorm would explain a huge jump for The Weather Channel. It’s an important story, but not enough for Joe & Mary Sixpack to sit through CNN all night.
@Ralph, I would think that it would jump The Weather Channel too. However, I know at 9pm CNN was running Special Storm Watch programming. I don’t know if they did it all night.
Did anyone watch CNN Friday night?
Federico Quadrani Leaves MSNBC for CNN, Will Be the EP for Jake Tapper’s Show
The State of the Union tomorrow ,I see that on the analysis side for CNN, are the former Fox News contributor Newt Gingrich and former Current TV anchor Jennifer Granholm will provide insider analysis, with Gloria Borger, David Gergen, Cornell Belcher, Donna Brazile, Alex Castellanos, Margaret Hoover, Van Jones and Ana Navarro also weighing in throughout the night.
Interesting ………….One person who apparently will not be appearing on CNN’s SOTU coverage is the anchor of CNN’s “State of the Union,” Candy Crowley.
Rats,
I know how fond you are of Granholm.
@ Cathy:
Yes CNN was live through at least 1a eastern time with storm coverage. They were all over it. Did a great job too. Glad their numbers are up.

@Ratboy,

And the MSNBC viewers were too DUMB to get out of the storm!!!
Maddow was off Foxtards, otherwise she would have won as usual.
Fox News’ Credibility At ‘Record Low :

@ d.d.
Rats,

That just proves that CNN is a LOOOOOONG way from being fixed!!!! I guess Al Jeezeera wont be covering it and using their girl!
There is Excuse #1
Wow,
MSNBC is quickly sliding back to their normal numbers. If they weren’t so openly bias to their dear leader and every breath he takes they quite possibly be considered a credible news outfit. But, even their commercials are White House propaganda. It’s a shame.
Well I guess we know where ZERO x 4 gets it!!! From another economic GENIUS!!
Obama: Job of debt reduction nearly done
One thing you won’t hear when President Obama delivers his State of the Union address Tuesday: An ambitious new plan to rein in the debt.
In recent days, the White House has pressed the message that, if policymakers can agree on a strategy for replacing across-the-board spending cuts set to hit next month, the president will pretty much have achieved his debt-reduction goals.
I am sure that it is the fault of FOX or the old FOX viewers, or Big Foot,
Actually I’m thinking its the aliens, Champie, Nessie or Jersey Devil.
Or all those young folks are just embaressed about getting their butts stomped by a bunch of mature people.
So when Fox’s numbers were low on Friday a few weeks back and MSNBCs number were high, the right came in here saying “WELL FOX PEOPLE HAVE LIVES!!!”. Now when the tables have turned MSNBC viewers will go “WELL MSNBC PEOPLE HAVE LIVES” *facepalm* Bunch of idiotic loons in here.
Rachel AND Lawrence were off. Ed was on duty. Each segment on MSNBC ran about ten minutes of weather coverage. What most amused me was the fact that they did not call the storm “Nemo” as the NBC-owned Weather Channel did. The 6:30 pm newscasts on the NBC broadcast network were pre-empted by the Boston affiliate I watched until Sunday night. On Sunday that news cast did NOT refer to “Nemo” either.
It’s a friday.. who watches a news channel on a friday? yeah, diluted Fox News viewers…
The big news is the that right wing LOST the election BIG TIME but they are still pushing the tired and erroneous strategem of drastically cutting spending in a bad recession…it’s dumb ideas like this that lost them the election!!!
