Due to the nature of live programming the ratings for CBS (Grammy Awards) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.
CBS was number one among adults 18-49 and with total viewers.
On CBS, The 2013 Grammy Awards earned a 10.0 10.1 (per updated fast nationals) from 8:00-11:30, down more than four ratings points from last year's monster 14.1 adults 18-49 rating (which was fueled by a Whitney Houston memorial tribute) but matching the ceremony's best 18-49 rating since 2011. Earlier in the night, 60 Minutes earned a 1.9, up two tenths from its last original's 1.7 two weeks ago.
On FOX The Cleveland Show scored a 1.3, up a tenth from its last original's 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. The Simpsons earned a 2.1, down two tenths from its last original's 2.3 adults 18-49 rating.. Bob's Burgers earned a 1.8, down two tenths from its last original's 2.0 adults 18-49 rating. Family Guy earned a 2.4, down half a ratings point from its last original's 2.9. American Dad earned a 2.0, down two tenths from its last original's 2.2 adults 18-49 rating.
On ABC, Once Upon A Time returned from hiatus to a series low 2.2 rating from its last original's season-low 2.4 adults 18-49 rating. Revenge earned a 1.4, also hitting a series low, down three tenths from its last original's 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Revenge for Real premiered to a dismal 0.8 adults 18-49 rating. Earlier in the night, America's Funniest Home Videos earned a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating, up half a ratings point from its last original's 1.3 adults 18-49 rating

Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

BTW, I rarely respond to Max. I like both shows Scandal and Revenge but seriously, Scandal is up against nothing on NBC, has a 3.1 as a lead-in and against a show that aired after the Super Bowl and still went down. Cannot compare apples to oranges, although I agree Scandal right now is the more compelling show, although some of those plots last Thursday might’ve jumped the shark for me.
Scandal looks like the real deal, the question is, will ABC move it to launch a night with. Not sure they want to open it up for anyone else.
@ Skylar James
I’m sure Revenge fans would love your schedule of January 6, January 27 and February 17 after a holiday break.
@Blake: well clearly this schedule is working just fine for the show, it isn’t hitting series low after series low either…
Good ole Family Guy was #1 of the night besides Grammys, go FG!!!
the grammy awards i only saw while flipping through, some guy on a key board was singing about forest gump, IDK, and of course Rianna was singing out of tune and not in the right key because like natalie furtado, they are both horribly tone deaf and cannot sing in key, just horrible!!!
@Original J
This site has really gone down the drain since Max/Bill Gorman has been incessantly trolling the comment section
Max posted one comment. Did they change the definition of incessantly?
@Skylar James
Has it occurred to you people might not like the direction the show has taken this season creatively? At least that’s what the buzz suggests.
ABC’s schedule is not perfect, but yours is worse. Airing 1 episode every 3 weeks would not help.
@Ultima,
Max posted one comment. Did they change the definition of incessantly?
That’s part of what I find so amusing about the whole Max thing, he posts one comment, many of which only one sentence long and fairly innocuous, and it immediately gets more attention than any other post, even ones that are more ridiculous or actually offensive.
@Blake: sorry but I dont buy that. Yes the show isnt as good as Season 1, but clearly scheduling is also a major issue for the massive ratings drop for the past couple of episodes.
Maybe they just air on the wrong day of the week. Perhaps the solution is really to move DWTS/The Bachelor to Sundays and move OUAT/Revenge to Mondays.
@Asashi
Huh? I heard complete different. I didn’t bother with the Grammy’s because I could really care less about that award show. I did hear Rhianna was amazing, though. Wrong?
PEOPLE stop making excuses and feeding MAX what he wants. REVENGE like I SAID months ago is going down. It’s not the way ABC sched. the show it’s the horrific plots and characters.
Whoever said last nights episode was great-WRONG! We are going back in circles with JACK/AMANDA, CONDRAD/BAR BROS., EMILY/AIDEN (SERIOSLY RIGHT BACK TO SQ1 AGH!) the only progress was with Victoria and Daniel, and Padma (to some extent). The show sucks now. I really loved it so it pains me to see how bad the quality is. I hate AIDEN and the WRITERS they ruined one of my favorite shows.
Oh WELL…These are better chances for the MUCH BETTER BEST TV SHOW OF THE SEASON NASHVILLE. I like revenge BUT THE WORSE it does, the better chances get for NASHVILLE
Both favorites but NASHVILLE more.
What was Walking Dead’s rating last night? I don’t see the cable ratings anywhere on here.
@Petar “As i always said POI is unique. Not typicle CBS cop show or procedural. Althou is with procedural srtucture has more than usually arcs(the rule is in the beging, in the mifle and in the end of the season) and is apealing to more broader fanbase. Which is helping with people who want clever shows and still rerun like procedural because is P.O.I. per week, like case per week. And if all other CBS procedural cop shows are after the crime POI is before the crime. I think after syndication POI will grow even more when people watch it and get how good this show is. Best scripted and acted crime drama on broadcast network. Still a lot of people think is one more cbs cop show and POI so bigger than that. Great idea, best possible cast, insane writers and all 4 POI main leads are growing this season. ONly hope that will be syndicated to USA, FX or TNT not to some stupid network.”
Couldn’t agree more! POI is such a unique and smart show. Hats off to Mr. Nolan and Co..
@alffan
Traditional scheduling is over.
No, it isn’t.
These serialized shows get permanent damage.
No, they don’t.
I like the idea of THE BATCHERLOR and DWTS to sun PERFECT!
SUNDAYS ABC 2013
7PM: AFV
8PM: DWTS
10PM: CASTLE
WINTER
7PM: AFV
8PM: THE BATCH
10PM: CASTLE
MONDAY
8PM: OUAT
9PM: REVENGE
10PM: NASHVILLE
@Skylar James
From what I hear, it’s turned into convoluted mess. Too many new characters people don’t care about, complicated storylines, not enough season 1-style takedowns, too much Initiative… They need to get back to basics and the ratings will improve.
Revenge will be renewed period. It may have trouble next season, but inheriting that slot wasn’t easy. Next week there’s no superbowl, no grammys, just competition from Walking Dead, Downton Abbey, Good Wife, FG/AD, lets see how Revenge does.
Once Upon A Time will bounce back. The Grammys were the reason it hit a series low, not to mention the Walking Dead Season 3 marathon.
@KJ Styles
What was Walking Dead’s rating last night? I don’t see the cable ratings anywhere on here.
Unless AMC puts out a press release, the Sunday cable numbers aren’t out until Tuesday morning.
@ Ultima
Obviously, NBC’s ratings aren’t great, but averaging 0.8 with repeats is probably still pretty profitable for them.
You guys do realize the max is probably a TBTN staffer whose job it is to get clicks?
