Due to the nature of live programming the ratings for CBS (Grammy Awards) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.

CBS was number one among adults 18-49 and with total viewers.

On CBS, The 2013 Grammy Awards earned a 10.0 10.1 (per updated fast nationals) from 8:00-11:30,  down more than four ratings points from last year's monster 14.1 adults 18-49 rating (which was fueled by a Whitney Houston memorial tribute) but matching the ceremony's best 18-49 rating since 2011. Earlier in the night, 60 Minutes earned a 1.9, up two tenths from its last original's 1.7 two weeks ago.

On FOX  The Cleveland Show scored a 1.3, up a tenth from its last original's 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. The Simpsons earned a 2.1, down two tenths from its last original's 2.3 adults 18-49 rating.. American Dad earned a 2.0, down two tenths from its last original's 2.2 adults 18-49 rating.

On ABC, Once Upon A Time returned from hiatus to a  series low 2.2 rating from its last original's season-low 2.4 adults 18-49 rating. Revenge earned a 1.4, also hitting a series low, down three tenths from its last original's 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Revenge for Real premiered to a dismal 0.8 adults 18-49 rating. Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • Jeff (Canada)

    Can’t wait to see Walking Dead’s numbers. I’m guessing at least a 5.8.

  • Caio

    I have a question for everyone:

    I am hardly ever a fan of the “Bad scheduling” excuse. But don’t you think this is really what is going on here? Yes, I know Revenge’s second season has decreased in quality. But not by that much. Not in a way that explains this kind of awful ratings. And ABC’s scheduling of the show ( Any show, let alone a highly serialized series ), putting it agains SEVERAL high profile events, has been one of the worst scheduling decicions I’ve ever seen. Even OUAT has decreased to rating levels I’d never thought I’d see, agt least not until years from now.

    I honestly don’t think ABC can blame anyone but themselves for this. It reminds me of FOX and New Girl last year.

  • Kevin

    Hope people were watching Downton Abbey last night. Once Upon a Time & Revenge are here to stay.

  • BH

    Revenge this season storywise has SUCKED. I dint even watch the last two episodes and I was such a big fan last season!

  • zerg

    @wichitahusker

    She died the day before the 2012 Granny’s and they made a tribute

  • Amy

    ABC should have aired repeats last night.

  • Vasco Silva

    ABC is becoming such a stupid channel with their scheduling! God

  • ali

    haha OMG you know what the saddest thing is:
    a person like max

    As soon as the numbers of revenge are known he starts trolling, he is always the first comment. It’s fine that you don’t like the show but this is just plain pathetic.

    I have never watched your precious Scandal but I’m sure it’s a fine show if you like Shonda. So please start commenting on things you do like or get a life please..

  • J.G.

    The OUAT numbers were better than I expected, but wow @ Revenge….sounds like moving it from Wednesday was a bad idea.

  • Petar Ivanov

    OK ABC is dead man walking. Or woman insted of man. They are female network. Big time mess.

    Bill is it time for poll which network is bigger mess abc or nbc?

  • Mark Ramone

    Max = Pathetic

  • Daw Johnson

    It actually didn’t air live on the west coast, so the fast nationals should be more accurate than usual.

  • Bee

    OMFG REVENGE. go ahead ABC. keep going. keep airing your successful serialized dramas against the globes and the grammys and other awards and throw in several weeks off as well. and watch how you manage to easily kill your shows. fingers crossed the 2 of them recover this spring. OH WAIT. revenge will be off for 3 weeks again i think after next week’s
    episode. and then daylight savings time will come. F$@K YOU ABC!

  • a p garcia

    Sad to say I saw The Grammy Awards, but it lack talent. Other than Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and about 3 more acts, even the American Idol castoffs could sing better!

  • Ateofi

    Horrible numbers for Revenge, is ABC stupid to make three weeks break and then air new episode against Grammy!? As for Max, just ignore that troll and don’t answer his provocation.

  • David

    Get a life Max. I don’t even care about Revenge but you’re pathetic.

  • Mark Ramone

    Scandal = little girl show

  • Travis

    ABC does this with every show and needs to stop. They did it year after year to Desperate Housewives and everyone said it was in it’s last season with season 6.

  • HT

    @Max – so much energy into hating a tv show. How old are you? Are you institutionalized or just a network exec? It’s quite sad to read your postings on here. I imagine you are lonely.

  • Bookworm

    Revenge is just weak.

    I’m usually not with Max on the whole basing thing, though he has a point, but I think that Desperate Housewives pulled better numbers than this against award shows in their last season. It was far from a higher rated season but they kept their spot and held their demo. Revenge is losing and losing it fast. Shows like this don’t bounce back from these kinds of drops and return to the higher 2.0′s or even 3.0′s. I don’t see OUAT returning to the 3.0′s until the season finale and Revenge won’t be seeing the high 2.0′s for a while. I hope it manages to get out of the 1.0′s next week, though I don’t see that as possible since I figure they will be in the 1.0′s for the next episode or two.

    Either way, ABC needs to revamp their schedule next season because Revenge is not strong enough for that Sunday slot. They should push it back to Wednesday. Maybe more Nashville too Tuesday and put a new drama in on Sundays.

    OUAT can stay where it is as but it will need to regain the audience come next season or I don’t see ABC keeping it around. It has a large cast and a fairly expensive time period; I can imagine the cost are higher than more shows.
