Due to the nature of live programming the ratings for CBS (Grammy Awards) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.

CBS was number one among adults 18-49 and with total viewers.

On CBS, The 2013 Grammy Awards earned a 10.0 10.1 (per updated fast nationals) from 8:00-11:30,  down more than four ratings points from last year's monster 14.1 adults 18-49 rating (which was fueled by a Whitney Houston memorial tribute) but matching the ceremony's best 18-49 rating since 2011. Earlier in the night, 60 Minutes earned a 1.9, up two tenths from its last original's 1.7 two weeks ago.

On FOX  The Cleveland Show scored a 1.3, up a tenth from its last original's 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. The Simpsons earned a 2.1, down two tenths from its last original's 2.3 adults 18-49 rating.. American Dad earned a 2.0, down two tenths from its last original's 2.2 adults 18-49 rating.

On ABC, Once Upon A Time returned from hiatus to a  series low 2.2 rating from its last original's season-low 2.4 adults 18-49 rating. Revenge earned a 1.4, also hitting a series low, down three tenths from its last original's 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Revenge for Real premiered to a dismal 0.8 adults 18-49 rating. Earlier in the night, America's Funniest Home Videos earned a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating, up half a ratings point from its last original's 1.3 adults 18-49 rating

Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • Baaa!

    No surprise that OUAT and Revenge were down as that demo is more vested in the Grammy’s. Grammy’s themselves were down and I’m going to say that TWD will also be down on what looks to be a down trend for the night.

  • SJ

    ABC is idiotic for scheduling originals against award shows and football, but anyone who thinks Revenge is anything less than a certain renewal is kidding themselves.

  • frodo

    ABC have killed Revenge, they wasted a perfectly good episode last night that is setting up the big reveal for next week’s episode 14. Revenge is a serialized drama, no way is it recovering in the ratings.

    Three straight episodes against huge TV events, the Golden Globes than NFC and now the Grammys+ The Walking Dead premiere.

    Revenge started this season with a 3.2 in the demo and up until early January it was getting in between a 2.8-2.4. Now its down to a 1.4. Those are 666 Park Ave numbers. I am afraid that this show is a goner. ABC will be losing a long time viewer. Last night’s episode of Revenge was a return to its quality from season 1, it was top notch and did not deserve this type of treatment.

  • danny94

    Haha, reading Max’s comments make me laugh, he really is a fool, that being said i am starting to worry for Revenge, abc really are idiots putting it againest the golden globes and the grammys.

  • Dan S

    I hate to say it but those really are bad ratings for Revenge. I never thought it would drop so low & this doesn’t look good for Red Widow that premieres next month. I think at this point Revenge may need to move to the bubble since it’s nowhere near syndication. If these low numbers continue it may not see a 3rd season. Next fall I think SHIELD would be a perfect fit after OUAT.

  • Joseph

    I’m not worried for revenge this time last year it was gaining high 1s low 2s it will definitely stabilise around there from now on! Next weeks episode will be heavily promoted by abc also- this is revenge’s last chance to get a respectable number

  • Lukes

    Revenge and Once ratings were even too expected, especially the Revenge one.
    That timeslot has a HUGE competition with big hits of other networks (Walking dead, Downton Abbey which I guess has the same audience, Shameless, this time there was even the Grammys).

    Moreover, you cannot just start watching Revenge now, the story has become very complex and convoluted, so it has a very little attraction basin.

  • Holly

    @Taylor,

    Not Bill but..

    Max hasn’t engaged in sock puppetry or attacked other posters (two things which cannot be said for many calling for his banning). Are his posts often ridiculous? Yes. But they are about the shows and the ratings and are rarely, if ever, actually offensive.

  • CrimTV

    @Holly

    It’s not the fact ABC are not airing repeats, it’s the fact that ABC are airing repeats of these shows against NO competiton and are airing originals against huge competition!

  • Ultima

    @Holly
    And if they took them off the air or aired repeats for these two months, everyone would be crying that the long hiatus would kill them and it was the worst scheduling decisions they’ve ever seen (e.g. Revolution).

    ABC could have aired an episode, been off for a couple weeks, aired an episode, been off for a couple weeks, aired an episode, been off for a couple weeks.

    I’m sure no one would have complained about that scheduling! ;)

  • Sweetd

    Revenge is not fine. It’s dropped steadily, and hopefully the writers will be given notice soon so they can wrap up all of the loose ends for the finale.

    Shows like Revenge/Deception would work better if they were 1 or 2 season shows.

  • zerg

    I really hope at least ouat can recover next week and thx to Oscar promotion,although the daylight savings will strike again :(

  • Lisa

    Come on, some of you people, have a little class. Max is criticizing a TV show, which can be annoying if you like the show, but it’s no reason for making PERSONAL comments about him: calling him pathetic, lonely, and the like. If you don’t like what he says, stop commenting on it. Maybe he’ll get bored and stop (or maybe not). But if you do comment, don’t make it personal.

  • Ultima

    @CrimTV
    It’s not the fact ABC are not airing repeats, it’s the fact that ABC are airing repeats of these shows against NO competiton and are airing originals against huge competition!

    ABC has not aired a single Revenge repeat this season and has only aired an in-timeslot repeat of Once Upon a Time once (on a night when Revenge wasn’t scheduled).

  • Michael

    In all honesty, this season of Revenge just isn’t as interesting as the first season.

  • WOW

    LMAO. Max is SUCH a fan. Like, damn! Every time there’s a Revenge post, he’s the first one here. The only thing more pathetic than Revenge’s ratings is that pointless essay that he probably spent an hour writing on Microsoft Word. Lol. I can’t.

  • Lisa

    BTW, I think people maybe should start getting banned, but not Max. Start banning the people who are making personal comments about him.

  • Dan

    Here’s an excuse The Walking Dead and Grammys as well as a lot of other 9:00 competition why watch Revenge live when it can be DVRed. However while Walking Dead repeats the same new episode 8000 times, Revenge only airs its new ep once.

    I’m confident both OUAT and Revenge will be renewed.

  • iMember

    No one here is to blame, but ABC. They knew this was going to happen and they did it anyway. Plus, it doesn’t help that they put them on and off breaks.

    I definitely expect Revenge to go UP next week though. That was an awesome episode they had last night!

  • Ali

    Just sit back and relax, Revenge will be back to its prime next week!
