@ That response has nothing to do with what you’re quoting. That, and looking at ratings in a vacuum is probably why you don’t belong anywhere near this industry.

A JOKE!!! Have you heard of a JOKE? WOW!!!!!!

  • RedBarSoup

Of course Fox News isn’t covering the terrorist ex LAPD being cornered. They are on their agenda attacking Obama and the Democrats right now BEFORE the speech even happens. They have to get their jabs in before it happens.

  • betty

US888 is proving Einstein correct, when he said “Zee definition of Insanity is when you keep repeating the same thing over and over, expecting different
    results.”

  • RedBarSoup

    @Betty

Yeah, because you know, no one else in here has been doing the exact same thing for longer….

  • betty

P.S. RUPERT is not at all “pissed” RUPERT is a very happy man since ‘his’
NEWS CORP. is humming along and along and along….and life goes on…..

I’m trying to figure out what some of you guys are watching. FNC was covering the siege in Cal. exclusively until about 15 minutes ago. Now they are interviewing Jay Carney while providing split screen coverage of the siege.

  • Ratboy

    @ Mike W

NO ONE can figure them out in just about anything they say so I guess we just have to humor them!

  • Robbie

I have been watching Fox since 2:20pm PST and all I have seen is coverage of Dorner!

  • Ratboy

    @ Mike W

Just remember; the debt is getting bigger but the economy is getting stronger, spending via the stimulus did not work but we need to spend more, unemloyment is not getting better but the jobs front is just fine, and on and on and on. Like I said we need to humor them!

You’re right some time you just have to laugh.

    Obama Meets the Press—for Lunch

President Barack Obama had lunch today with members of the press. But we likely won’t find out what was discussed: The entire luncheon was off the record.

“The anchors of all three broadcast evening newscasts — NBC’s Brian Williams, ABC’s Diane Sawyer and CBS’s Scott Pelley — will be in attendance,” Huffington Post reported today.

Former aides to Democratic politicians who are now working as journalists were scheduled to be in attendance, too. “Some cable hosts will also be on hand, including MSNBC’s Chris Matthews. George Stephanopoulos, co-host of ABC’s ‘Good Morning America,’ is attending.”

The lunch is an annual affair. “The annual lunch, which is off-the-record, allows the president to frame his upcoming speech before influential figures in TV news, all of whom will be leading or part of their networks’ coverage later on. While Obama will personally give anchors a sense of what he’ll outline in the address at the 12:30 p.m. lunch, White House aides have already been speaking to reporters for days — typically not for attribution — about what to expect on Tuesday night,” the liberal website reports

I personally hate when “local” stories get national coverage to the point it becomes news porn. Stuff like Dorner and Casey Anthony should remain local. Didn’t CNN jump upon the Dorner bandwagon last week pretty fast?

  • Donof

What are people talking about. Rachel Maddow did amazing last night. She was on CNBC……..it was a marathon.

Uhhhhhh….I’m talking about right now, not 15 minutes ago good sir. Yes NOW they are covering it, but they HAD to just cut away to put a jab or two to Obama before the speech. Ahhhh, just like MSNBC (against the other side if you ask me.) I also love how that the media will cover that Dorner has killed 2 people, but fail to mention that the police fired upon 2 peoples vehicle without even knowing if he was in there or not, injuring two.

Matthews is bound to have an EM (Erectile Malfunction) moment.

@Ratboy “So almost HALF of Rachels viewers are the OLD GEEEZER DEMO!!! But only a THIRD of OReillys viewers are in that demo.”

What on earth are you talking about? Did you forget about the Geezers that are older than 64? Those numbers just prove that the vast majority of O’Reilly’s viewers are 65 and older.

  • Mike W

Just to be clear – as I said previously I began watching the siege on FNC at 4:40 PM. They covered this exclusively until around 6:15 PM at which time they went to split screen coverage.

This man is the hardest worker ever

Professor USA did you get that many days off.

Obama: 57 Vacation Days Since Vowing He ‘Will Not Rest Until Anyone’ Can Find A GOOD Job

According to The Weekly Standard, Pres. Obama has had 83 vacation days overall and Factcheck.org says he took 26 of those in 2009. That means the president has taken at least 57 vacation days since his vow not to “rest.

    Good point, limited importance.

Did I mention that I am 100% proven correct about the corrupt, secular, left wing, so-called objective media. The propaganda wing of the progressive movement.

They won’t touch Dorner’s politics with a ten foot pole! Corrupt!

MSNBC has fallen and they can’t get up!
