Hey Cathy, I watched Hardcore Pawn Chicago. It wasnt bad. Being born and reaised in the suburbs of Chi-town and accused of having a Chicago accent, I got a kick out of the two brothers that run the shop. I may like HCP Detroit a little better though

  • Cathy

@Ratboy, I don’t understand how she can be number one in the 18-34 for the month when she is never in the top 100 cable shows and O’Reilly makes the top 100 from time to time.

Should have been called ‘Gibbs Greatest Hits”

MSNBC hired Barry Gibb. Stayin’ Alive, why that should the new motto for the dying network.

$3.93 there, And well over $4.00 other places and just checked the price futures for July-August on a trading site, I’d post the prices but it would cause manic depression to set in. And this was even without the corn shortage for the ethanol program which could cause it to skyrocket even more.

Milton Friedman Responds to Obama’s $9/Hour Minimum Pay Demands (Video)

Obama issued a long list of “progressive” demands to keep his flock of idiots happy. One of those Obama demands was to raise minimum wage to $9 an hour by 2015. Obama has proven he knows nothing about economics or job creation (31-year low in labor force participation rate/record long-term unemployment & poverty) and this demand would cause even more Americans to lose jobs. Obama and Democrats have already produced enough job killing bills (Obamacare) and this demand will add to the total. Someone should send this video to the economic illiterate president immediately.

A random act of good journalism by the NYTimes: Points Out Obama Isn’t That Much Different than Bush and Obama’s Hypocrisy Over National Security Issues.

If President Obama tuned in to the past week’s bracing debate on Capitol Hill about terrorism, executive power, secrecy and due process, he might have recognized the arguments his critics were making: He once made some of them himself.

Four years into his tenure, the onetime critic of President George W. Bush finds himself cast as a present-day Mr. Bush, justifying the muscular application of force in the defense of the nation while detractors complain that he has sacrificed the country’s core values in the name of security.

    From Rush Limbaugh yesterday

    Misstatement of the Union Tonight

“Tonight, Obama’s gonna say debt reduction’s taken place and we got our spending in line. It’s now in control, and everything’s ready to roll. There’s gonna be a standing ovation for that, and a Misstatement of the Union, and I have to watch it. No, I can’t farm it out. This, I have to watch.”

I think he forgot to mention the COLD 40 inches of COLD snow that hit the COLD east coast and 40 inches of snow is like 4 inches of rain and 4 inches of rain in a day is NOT a drought either! But he must have just forgot to mention that.

The nation must do more to fight global warming, he said, addressing skeptics of climate change.

“We can choose to believe that Superstorm Sandy, and the most severe drought in decades, and the worst wildfires some states have ever seen were all just a freak coincidence,” he said. “Or we can choose to believe in the overwhelming judgment of science and act before it’s too late.”
