Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    Go Carrie… :)

HIMYM? What happened? Those are great numbers but it dropped a lot from last week. I wonder what happened, no major event occurring during that time so I’m not sure what’s the reason for the drop.

The following is still posting good numbers for a Fox show but why such a huge drop? Was something else big on that I don’t know of? Seems crazy that shows are seeing that big of a drop from last week to this week.

Hawaii barely beat Castle this week. 90210 is pathetic, I wish they would just kill it already.

The Bachelor did great, btw. I wish Castle would have gained some more from it. It seems like it hasn’t seen a 2.0 or above for some time now. Stuck in the high 1.8’s like Nashville.

I really wonder if THE CW is going to invest in TCD. I mean, wouldn’t it be better to invest in HOD and NIKITA seeing as they have been on longer?

  • Glue

Carrie Diaries, ADJUST UP :D, Please?

  • Win

    I’m gonna actually miss 90210.

  • Carter

Rules of engagement was funny last night!

  • Billy

The Following is really losing steam.

Lol@ Terry. That is where I get most of my ratings from before Bill and Rob, though I like this site better, but SpoilerTV post Marc Bermans numbers and you can figure it out from there. Plus they update their tables live so we get each rating as it’s coming in instead of waiting for the whole thing to be posted.

Huge drop for The Following. Ouch.

The Carrie Diaries remains in contention for renewal.

  • Just

    goodbye following

  • Hmm

Last nights episode of Castle was the best one since December, so happy to see the demo go up a little!

  • Dillan

TCD will get a second season. The CW need to announce this as 90210’s final season.

  • Billy

CBS clearly had a Super Bowl bounce last week. Especially HIMYM. The numbers did not look like much of a bounce last week, but seeing how they dropped this week indicates there was a bounce in last week’s numbers.

  • Jane

90210 will soon hit 0.0 at this rate. TCD couldn’t sustain that 0.7 but 0.6 is pretty good. It’s really a bubble show for real. I do think The CW will keep HOD and dump this one. Well, it depends on what they decide to do with BATB.

  • Sarah

    Bones :(

  • Wright

Cancel 90210 and TCD now please. I was hoping Bones and The Following would have a higher rating.

  • halloween

90210 deserves 100% to be canceled, Mark should tell them to write a finale

  • Chris

HIMYM got higher ratings last week because of the return of Robin Sparkles, a longtime fan favorite. This week’s episode was great, and got great ratings, but fewer people felt like they had to catch it first-run.

  • Bookworm

Sorry, got Castles numbers wrong but a 2.0 is great for this show. Still, the Bachelor did great, I was hoping Castle saw a better retention out of that. Either way, it did crack 2.0. Hopefully it won’t drop below that anymore.
