Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I love 90210. But I hope it gets cancelled and HOD gets saved for atleast two seasons.

  • Patrick Gillease

WOW, does anyone think a .3 for 90210 will merit a short final season next year? NOT! The sudden and inexplicable death of Riley last week should be proof that the writers and producers have been told “this is it! Start wrapping up your storylines because you’re canceled after this year!” Even the sudden departure of Max and the bad-boy reversion of Liam all suggest this series is in its final death throes! Bye, bye Beverly Hills!

The Following starts to SINK. Where’s WOWZA?? :D

It got creamed by The Bachelor, hahhahahahahahahaa

  • Oliver

They should just tell 90210 to wrap up their storylines this season and cancel it. The ratings are miserable.

  • Chris

@Sarah–what about Bones? It’s in its 8th season, and still getting better ratings than Castle, against tougher competition, with no lead-in. Not a fan, and it really is past time they retired it, but that’s nothing to grimace about.

  • John A

LMAO at 90210. You know your a goner when even loser Nikita is beating you.

  • Casey

Last week I watched HIMYM because of Robin Sparkles, this week…not so much. I’m not saying that’s the reason it dropped eight tenths just why I didn’t watch.

  • Claire

Ouch for The Following. It’s really, really smart TV. But I guess that’s the problem….

  • Charmed

I honestly now think 90210 should be cancelled. If they announc it now they have ages to write a finale.

  • Greg

The Following is Alcatrazing. And The Bachelor is kicking DWTS in the balls.

Wow at 90210. This is getting sad. Even Emily Owens MD had better ratings. I think they’re still pending towards a 10-episode final season, considering how Gossip Girl rated somewhat decently in its final installments, but that’s it.

  • Ali

    Alcatraz Week 4: .5 drop from 2.8 to 2.3
    Following Week 4: .5 drop from 2.9 to 2.4

  • John A

Im starting to lose interest in The Following. Not surprised its sinking.

  • Jane

Gossip Girl only rated decently in the last two episodes when there was nothing else on. The other 8 episodes were terrible (0.3/0.4).

  • Edward

Nice uptick for Deception especially since Loser was down this week. Deception had a good episode last night.

I hope The Following’s drop off isn’t about the pseudo gay storyline.

  • halloween

no Gossip Girl did not rate decently at all this season besides the finale

  • Charmed

Looks like The Following is going the same way as Alcatraz :( It is actually really good, it’s the scariest show on TV

  • JacobYates

    Lol at the following

  • Ram510

Hopefully Rules of Engagement will be back over a 3.0 next week

  • Erin

Do you do anything besides trash shows you don’t even watch and root for their downfalls? You’re so freaking pathetic. Maybe try getting out of your parents’ basement sometime and seeing the outside world.

  • Holly

Lol@ Terry. That is where I get most of my ratings from before Bill and Rob, though I like this site better, but SpoilerTV post Marc Bermans numbers and you can figure it out from there. Plus they update their tables live so we get each rating as it’s coming in instead of waiting for the whole thing to be posted.

You mean, theoretically, you could find out the ratings, write a comment, and simply wait for them to be posted here so you could be the first comment…. Gee… I wonder if anyone has thought of doing that for say, the Sunday ratings post?
