Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

@BigBrotherFan how about FLOPO201? Seriously though I’ve never seen the show, but I hope the CW puts it to rest. If the fans need closure surely they can order an extra episode or two? From what I’ve seen around here that would be sufficient time to end it. While I enjoy BatB and TCD, my first hope is that they renew HoD as I have more time invested in it, and it is the only TV on these days that just gives me a nice warm glow every time I watch it. I love all the current CW shows (excluding 90210 which I have never seen) so I was glad to hear about the top three getting an early announcement. I also really love Nikita, and I’m glad there’s an uptick lately on those Friday night numbers. Ideally they could keep all the shows and have a couple more, alas it just cannot be. I love Kristin Kreuk, and there are things about the last couple BatB episodes that have me actually liking it as opposed to just trying to find something about the show to like. But I vastly enjoy TCD more, and HoD and Nikita even more than that. Additionally, while I have the lowest of expectations for the numbers, I really do hope that Cult will do well. I would love for it to succeed, and honestly it may be a lot more entertaining than BatB. Sigh, we shall see. This part of the year always gives me a little stress while I’m left wondering the fate of my entertainment investments.

People get your head out of your BUTTS!!!

I just wish Bones hadn’t fallen because it was a great episode, IMO.

  • ivy

    Bummed about H50!

  • gerry

@ richard – TCD is growing out of .4 .5, so its showing gains (.7 last week and .6 this week) v. drops. i wouldn’t count it out just yet.

for like the last 4 seasons of one tree hill, each season finale was written like it was the series finale. hopefully the brainless nits over at 90210 had enough sense to do that with their plummeting ratings.

  • matt

Elementary haters, check. The Following haters, check. Revenge haters, check.

  • juliedawn

Good Lord 90210. Never watched it, can’t comment one way or the other what it may or may not ‘deserve’, but geez it’s gotta go at those numbers.

FLOP2010 haha! I love playing with these names.. haha

The folowing will survive won’t be cancel. fox are without friday scripted shows for next season. ANd the following can take that place and even win 8 pm spot for fox. Its better than touch with sure. But should hold at least around 1.5 vs the voice.

The Bachelor is now better than DWTS.

Cancellation Bear: The Following still far ahead from the bear.

Go Bones! Happy that they are steady. Hoping for a uptick in finals but very pleased and last night was amazing. Can’t ask for anything more. Bones is doing great for Fox.

I love the Following. I hope it can level off. I admit, I am a little worried when the voice comes. This show is one of the best on TV. I really want it around for a while.

Surprised HIMYM fell that much but still good numbers, so good for them.

Haven’t seen the h50 episode yet but glad it didn’t fall too much.

Not much was up but a few shows. Slow night maybe?

Castle seems very lead in dependent to me. So no surprise it went up with the Bachelor rising.

  • BigBrotherFan

I’m shocked about TCD because I thought the Pilot was cringe worthy..

then again NO WAY am I the target audience there-

Male, Mid 20’s, Lives on my own, Uni. Degree.

90210 is looking dead. Not just its fall, but the bubble shows actually drifting up in January. The case for a final 13 is weaker than ever.

CBS are going to have a hard time cancelling Rules when they’re going to renew at least one procedural getting 1s every night. And this time, they *do* have the pilots for comedy expansion. The only problem is CBS now have a replacement for Rules’ utility slot – TBBT reruns! You’d have to schedule it right into the comedy block from September (which the show probably deserves, to be honest).

I’m amazed nobody else tried to buy the show last summer when CBS didn’t commit to renewing it until very late. None of the other networks would turn down a sitcom that can get a low 2 with no lead-in – heck, that’d make it the #1 sitcom on NBC and the #2 on FOX and ABC these days. Rules could do that.

  • JacobYates

It’s not entirely impossible to bring back a show that was cancelled just recently. Terra Nova, all you need is to bring back O’Mara and his show is likely a goner. so while you’re right that it’s next to impossible, it can be done. (Arrested Development)

I think FOX is much more likely to send BONES to Friday than the one few bright spots that came out of them this season (scripted).

  • rob60990

“Hawaii Five-O episode was very good, but apparently even Summer Glau’s excellent performance didn’t help.”

I was going to insult Hawaii 5-0’s ratings but after hearing she guest starred, I think fans suffered enough. :D

  • David Howell

Also, geez The Following really might be the new Alcatraz and where the heck do Fox go if it is? Chasing NBC into oblivion? At least their comedy blocks, both animated and live-action, skew super-young so draw more ad dollars than the 18-49 numbers suggest. They’ll need every one of those ad dollars at this rate…

    @ BigBrotherFan

So you don’t like Downton Abbey?
