NEW YORK – February 13, 2013 – Screen icon Linda Hamilton (The Terminator) will guest star as a ruthless assassin on Syfy’s hit series Lost Girl, airing Monday, March 25 at 10PM.

In the episode titled “Delinquents”, Hamilton portrays Acacia, a tough, sexy and ruthless assassin who has enjoyed a storied and deadly career.  Her arrival spells trouble for Bo (Anna Silk), Kenzi (Ksenia Solo) and Dyson (Kris Holden-Ried), who are undercover at an urban camp to catch a serial killer Fae preying on at-risk youth.

Lost Girl was developed by Prodigy Pictures, in association with Shaw Media and Showcase. Executive producers are Jay Firestone, Emily Andras, Plato Fountidakis, and Paul Rapovski. James Thorpe is co-executive producer, Vanessa Piazza is co-producer and Wanda Chaffey is producer.

Lost Girl is produced with the participation of the Canadian Media Fund created by the Government of Canada and the Canadian cable industry, and with the assistance of the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit and the Ontario Film and Television Tax Credit Program.

Very cool. Looking forward to this one. They rarely have current (or former) major US actors on the show. It’s mostly current Canadian actors (obviously since it’s a Canadian show.)

Would love to know the definition of “hit series” they are using…

No idea but I’m glad Netflix managed to pick up the show.

    @ The Guy,

Don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it. I’m a huge fan of Lost Girl and I hope it’s around for many more seasons.

One of most memorable images in films, to me, was the look of pain and anguish on the face of Linda Hamilton as she uttered the last sentence in this exchange in ‘The Terminator':

Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton): Kyle, the women in your time, what are they like?
Kyle Reese (Micheal Biehn): Good fighters.
Sarah Connor: That’s not what I meant. Was there someone special?
    Kyle Reese: Someone?
Sarah Connor: A girl, you know.
    Kyle Reese: No. Never.
Sarah Connor: Never? I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.

They were in bed shortly after.

Come with me if you want to live, so to speak.

Oh I do watch it, but I find Bo to be a whiny bitch. Kenzi and Trick make the show.

But I was just referring to it only drew 850k viewers last night, not a “hit” imo even if it does air on SyFy…

It’s probably considered a hit for those ratings because SyFy is probably paying next to nothing for it except a small licensing fee. It will stay on the air as long as Showcase produces it.
