Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I’ll sum up the state of the union address for everyone.
The government is crap, the economy is crap, the state of the union is crap, see you again in a year.
This may have been answered before, but what is the point of including Univision’s ratings when its shows aren’t included in the ratings list and it isn’t included in the year to date and each week’s ratings comparison? It seems like a pointless comparison when it’s only half or 1/4 the information.
WTF Max? Those shows don’t even air on Tuesday. Find something else to do.
FWIW, I watched the SOTU on PBS.
What did Univision air last night?
To jeff:
Its too cold out….i caught up on my dvr shows.
I cant wait for 80o.
Um okay, what does Revenge & Scandal have to do with last nights numbers ? Since there are no commercials for SOTU CBS is the real winner getting the most viewers. As expected TOH continues to drop & will soon be forgotten.
Max you must really have a sad sad life… you even talk about revenge when it’s not in the air! I pity you!
@The Cool Max
Univision the number one network 18-49?? Seriously? How?
They ran originals of their telenovelas while everyone else was stuck with the State of the Union address (the Pro Bowl of politics!).
Is this the first time Univision was #1?
Nope. They snag wins occasionally because their soaps are always on, while the other networks are sometimes all in repeats at the same time.
@Anon
What did Univision air last night?
Novelas!
Max, Are you crazy? If you don’t like revenge, you can go suck. Do something important and stop comment your LOVE for the show. Revenge is good and won’t be cancelled, only IN YOUR DREAMS.
CW should have ran a New Dixie last night because the movie did the same numbers of the show (except for the sharing thing).
The revenge scandal debate is ok on mon and fri but its getting old during the rest of the week
@Anon
What did Univision air last night?
The same thing they air virtually every weeknight.
SOTU is not getting renewed with those ratings
@Bob
SOTU is not getting renewed with those ratings
We can only hope!
Revenge was back to it’s old self Sunday. Great Episode! Oh and Rubio rocked!
I just wwant to see PLL and The Lying Games numbers.. i hope the lying game at least gets a 0.6 maybe even 0.7 that would be nice. And i wonder when ABCFamily will annouce the back order for it and if Bunheads is canned or not.
@max
and this ralates to this post how? neither Revenge or Nikita aired last night.
@gerry
Everyone knows our current president will ruin this country….
Can’t believe they decided to schedule SOTU against Westminister finals. Banana Joe makes for much more interesting television.
Max stop trolling everything.
