Wal-Mart Executives Sweat Slow February Start in E-Mails

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. had the worst sales start to a month in seven years as payroll-tax increases hit shoppers already battling a slow economy, according to internal e-mails obtained by Bloomberg News.

“In case you haven’t seen a sales report these days, February MTD sales are a total disaster,” Jerry Murray, Wal- Mart’s vice president of finance and logistics, said in a Feb. 12 e-mail to other executives, referring to month-to-date sales. “The worst start to a month I have seen in my ~7 years with the company.”

US employment is at 1948 and the money was printed not earned. Wait until they quit printing. Buy Gold for the long run.I am not sure when they will quit printing, maybe 3 years, Oh after the next presidents election. The next President is doomed and so are we.

HuffPo: Workers ‘Really Deserve’ a $21.72 Minimum Wage

According to a new study by the George Soros-funded Center for Economic Policy and Research, minimum wage should be $21.72 an hour to keep up with the increase of worker productivity.

Highlighting that study, The Huffington Post bemoaned President Barack Obama’s call for a higher minimum wage as a “far cry from what workers really deserve,” in a Feb. 13 blog post.

But Soros fired half his workers and sent the jobs overseas.

these loons dont have a clue about the markets and the why and hows of what they do. I hope someday they have enough money to be able to understand them but as long as they keep putting the support behind the king it will NEVER happen because they will ALL be middle class!

  • Cathy

I like Star Trek the Next Generation. But the child in me still makes me giggle very time I heard the Captain call Commander Riker, “Number One.”

  • Doug Z

Ratboy I do not understand the market or I would be rich, Oh you have to be rich like Soros, a Demo, to make money though illegal actively.

  • Ratboy

Rubio Watergate!! MSNBC WINS HANDS DOWN!!!
    What a bunch of IDIOTS!!!

The primary and justifiable beef is MSNBC’s obsession with such a benign event. To that end, Fox News has referred to a media study that found its own network ran the clip a dozen times, CNN 34 times, and MSNBC an eye-popping 155 times (as of Thursday night), including 101 times on Maddow’s program in the form of a corner-third window.

  • RedBarSoup

Yeah I know right Ratboy. It’s almost as bad as when Fox News and the right attacked Obama for weeks on end for singing the National Anthem instead of putting his hand over his heart. Or how about the weeks of attack for using a teleprompter, when previous presidents have done the same. Or how about Obama not being born in Hawaii. How dare the left do the same thing as the right. DAMN that stupid Muslim Obama!
