    @Mickey O

That would be interesting if true, I hope someone confirms this outside of Russia as well. Could be useful scientific info on how that effected it in for when it happenes again.

  • Coffee Steve

PS: Last week a CNN anchor asked someone if the Asteriod today was caused by Global Warming (I kid you not) I wonder if she’ll blame this as well LOL

No, it isn’t “self-explanatory”. The State of the Union Address was the same for all channels that covered it; you have to show me that their (the younger generation’s) preference of channels for this event was strictly political.

Good Morning , one & all.

The Weather Channel has a good article on the meteor

    This way annoying to me.

Confidential, expensive USDA sensitivity training: ‘The Pilgrims were illegal aliens’

Judicial Watch has the videos obtained under the Freedom of Information Act .

Footage of the United States Department of Agriculture’s compulsory “Cultural Sensitivity Training” program reveals USDA employees being instructed to refer to the Pilgrims as “illegal aliens” and minorities as “emerging majorities” — at “a huge expense” to taxpayers.

The author’s video is 31/2 hours long & he admits it was a huge expense to make. Betances also explained in another clip Judicial Watch highlighted — from the more than three-and-a-half hour video — that he does not like the word “minorities.”

“By the way, I don’t like the word ‘minorities.’ How about ‘emerging majorities’?” he said.

Throughout the session, Betances had the employees shout “Bam!” to reinforce his points.

The videos were requested to never get out of the Agency.

Our Pilgrims risked their lives for freedom from a tyrant , &, once arriving in the US never took a penny in any government handout , &, tirelessly worked to improve their lives. Many , many died in the early years. Where they needed improvement was their treatment of the native populations .

  • Coffee Steve

    Good Morning d.d.

And to add, the vast majority of early meetings between the Pilgrims and Native Americans were friendly and they worked together. It was later when the Governments sent groups that it went haywire. Too much Government always does that :-)

  • Coffee Steve

(I cannot verify if this is true, but one Russian site has Putin quoted when asked about the meteor “It was my friend George Bushes Fault”

If true what a smack down LOL

  • tony

As they often say”hey dumb FOXTARD Rachel was off”,I often think that as well.

At least it isn’t 6 inches of meteor dust :-)

d.d. wrote about: “Confidential, expensive USDA sensitivity training: ‘The Pilgrims were illegal aliens’”

To me, the goal of such training is to condition USDA employees on how they should view illegal aliens, which means that they do interface with illegal aliens on a regular basis. I wonder in which of USDA areas of responsibility.

These freaking #$%^&**&&^% cant even go to just one place for another vacation, noooooooooooooo they got to DOUBLE the costs to us taxpayers!

Michelle Vacationing Separately From President Obama

First Lady Michelle Obama plans to vacation in Aspen, Colorado this Presidents’ Day weekend, separately from her husband, who will land this evening in West Palm Beach for his own down time with the boys.

According to Aspen newspapers, both Michelle and Vice President Biden are expected on the slopes. The White House has not yet announced the trip, and it’s not clear when she will be leaving, though she will presumably go today.

Michelle’s separate excursion from the president means that, even as the government prepares to slash spending as the March 1 sequester approaches, taxpayers will be footing the bill for two separate Obama vacations, paying for items like travel and the expensive security and staff entourages that accompany them everywhere.

    Good Morning
Hope all had a wonderful Valentines Day with your loved ones.

I DONT beleive this woman even said this!!!! Climb into the pockets of the 1 percenters, complain about corp pay blah blah blah then this!!!!

Pelosi: Congressional pay cut undermines dignity of the job

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that she opposes a cut in congressional pay because it would diminish the dignity of lawmakers’ jobs.

“I don’t think we should do it; I think we should respect the work we do,” Pelosi told reporters in the Capitol. “I think it’s necessary for us to have the dignity of the job that we have rewarded.”

    Two faced $%^&*((*&&^%$$

Middle Class Warrior Obama’s $900 Valentine’s Day Dinner

President Obama took First Lady Michelle out for dinner Thursday night to the restaurant Minibar, possibly the most exclusive joint in Washington.

It’s almost impossible to get a reservation – the place seats 12. The dining room includes an open kitchen where you gaze in awe as famed chef Jose Andres cooks you dinner as if you were in his home.

“Each bite is an experience to be savored, pondered, and sometimes puzzled over,” asserts the website for the restaurant.

Which is nice, since each bite probably costs about $10.

That is, the price for tasting approximately 20 small dishes is $225, not including tax and tip, while wine pairings will set you back $75, $120, or $200. If we assume a mid-range $120 for wine, the total comes to $345 per person, or $690 for two. Add in Washington’s 10 percent restaurant dining tax and a 20 percent tip and we’re at $910.80 for dinner.

Surprisingly, the Obamas did not go out for any $900 dinners during the presidential campaign.

  • Coffee Steve

Hope your was a ghreat one too LetMeThink, and Thank you, we had a great one

    @Rats

Please don’t mention Pelosi before my food has digested :-)

Well the Bengzahi email hard copy is finally out

This email was sent to State Department officials, White House officials, Secret Service officials at 6:07 PM EST on 9-11, from Benghazi officials the night of the terrorist attack.

The email clearly blamed Al-Qaeda linked group Ansar al-Sharia for the attack on the US consulate.

This was before the lifeless body of Ambassador Stevens was dragged from the consulate ruins.

This was at least the third email sent to the White House on 9-11 from Benghazi.

No excuse now for the lies.

Mr. Panetta told Congress last week that he knew immediately the attacks were a terrorist assault, though the White House downplayed that notion in the first five days after the attack.

As all the Networks have stated , no one goes on the Sunday talk shows representing the W.H. without first getting their approval. Think Susan Rice.

Industrial production falls on weak manufacturing

Reuters) – Industrial production unexpectedly fell in January, weighed down by weak manufacturing and mining, according to a report on Friday that was another sign of slow economic activity at the start of the year.

Industrial production dipped 0.1 percent last month after a revised 0.4 percent gain in December, the Federal Reserve said.

This is sad. Oscar Pistorius charged with murder. The double-amputee millions watched compete at the Summer Olympics may face life in prison if found guilty of premeditated murder.
