New York, NY – February 14, 2013 – TV Land will premiere Larry David’s hit HBO comedy series, “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” kicking off with marathons on Saturday and Sunday, February 16th and 17th,from 11pm to 6am and Monday, February 18th from 11pm to 3am. The show will then settle into its regular timeslot of 2am ET/PT beginning Tuesday, February 19th, where it will air daily. will also stream full episodes of the show, and fans will be able to stay engaged with @tvland during the marathon to judge #awkward or #notawkward on their favorite Larry moments.
“Curb Your Enthusiasm” stars Larry David as himself in an unsparing but tongue-in-cheek depiction of his life. Shot in a vérité style and often featuring celebrities who play themselves, the episodes are improvised by the actors from a mere outline created by David. The series has been nominated for seven Primetime Emmy® Awards over the course of its run, and won a Golden Globe® Award for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy in 2003. “Curb Your Enthusiasm” has also received awards from the Writers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America, Producers Guild of America, NAACP Image Awards, the American Film Institute and Monte Carlo Television Festival, among others. “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is executive produced by Larry David, Jeff Garlin, Gavin Polone, Alec Berg, David Mandel, Jeff Schaffer, Tim Gibbons and Erin O'Malley.

I’m actually surprised. I love this show, but, this dosen’t seem like what TV Land airs. TV Land airs all multiple camera sit-coms, no single camera. Wonder how viewers of TV Land will like Curb.

  • steven

Maybe this will help Larry David make up his mind about doing another season of Curb.

  • Rebecca

They’re going to have to edit a lot out of it to air on TVLand. Love the show. I hope Larry decides soon about whether to do another season or not.

  • The Cool Max

This show won’t be as great censored. Larry does some of his best lines with the language.

  • iggy

It would make sense if it was on fellow Viacom channel Comedy Central.

On the other hand, Larry does act a lot like Mr Magoo on that show.

  • Nick

2am? Who acquires a show just to stick it at 2am? lol

  • david

I was thinking the same thing and for that matter to write up a press release about having it on at 2 am. I do enjoy the show but i will not be awake at 2 in the morning to watch it.

  • Ryne

This is a great show but being on TV Land with heavy editing won’t be great at all. Kind of like The Sopranos on A&E

The show already airs on TV Guide and the censoring isn’t THAT bad, it’s still funny.

  • Trevor

It once aired a year ago on WGN also at 2am. This 2am business must be a part of the contract or something.

  • Disappointed

Nice to see the channel that used to air wholesome shows like “Leave it to Beaver” and “I Dream of Jeannie” now airs a show in which an insecure man urinates on a picture of Jesus Christ.
