You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Definitions: Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    @Justin121

    how the hell The Carries Diaries become 4th biggest break-throughs of the season?? that show ratings are awful! biggest break-troughs? NO! flop? totally YES!

  • Petar Ivanov

    @Damn Suvivor really tanked. I wonder if AI had any influence. I am going to be honest with everyone I think Survivor is a tired show. I mean its been on 25 seasons and now 13 years. Its just runs its course. I really honestly believe they should do one Survivor season and one AR seasona year and do it on Sundays and have them rotate.

    ME: Its cbs fault. I think they should do this at least 2-3 years ago to save both reality shows for longer period. Now is a litle bit too late. AR will tank even more. NBC should look what happen with both cbs shows and abc DWTS. This will hapen and with the voice if is 2 cycles per year. In ither hand The biggest loser hold very well with one cycle per year. The same with abc TB. So easy answer.

    “Why would that be? Weather wise it still very indoor type weather across the nation.”

    Ash Wednesday?

    ;)

    Bad night for ABC but slightly impressive that The Neighbors held steady
    Not great for FOX, but I think they had to expect this.
    CBS should have kept Survivor at two hours.
    Horrible for the NBC comedies but reasonable numbers for the dramas.
    Good night for CW; this lineup is very strong.

  • Rickey

    American Idol’s main audience is from 18-49. Nicki Minaj’s fans are from 18-25. The remaining age group are Mariah’s fans and the way American Idol producers have allowed Nicki and the media to disrespect the Legend Mariah is horrifying. I will not return until Nicki Minaj is removed.

  • TVDxItachi

    Is there going to be a press release on Tvbythenumbers that CW Cult is already avaliable online on the CW website and Hulu??? Ps, Cult pilot was so damn good!!! Much better then the following, the formula was fresh and not generic like today’s modern serial/killer dramas, no clunky flash backs either…go watch people..

  • CBSviewer

    Hopefully this episode of CSI won’t count for the Show’s Renewal. TBBT was a terrible lead-in but it’ll go up next week !

  • BigBrotherFan

    THE BIGGEST FLOP OF THE YEAR IS GIRLS. LENA DUNHAM IS A PIG!

    How could anyone in their right mind call Nashville or CF a flop? They are doing well considering they didn’t have their respective networks pay money for a GG and still do laughable ratings.

  • Jarrod

    I seriously don’t get why people are mocking Nikita over Arrows ratings. They’re both coming back next year.

  • Jay

    @Tessa
    For me I think Deans getting the Angel tab while Sam ofcourse gets the hell one. Not surprise but it is what it is. They been having Dean stuck on this self worth for a while now, but it’s time for them to let him go at a tablet.

    Other than that I thought the episode was pretty good.

  • Jenna

    The Middle :( ABC needs to swap it with Suburgatory’s time slot… they are wasting MF as a line in.

  • SueP

    @Tessa – yeah they kind of missed a golden opportunity last night, huh? I have no idea what Dean’s purpose in this mythology actually is since Sam is now the heir to the Men of Letters and the super hunter who will close the gates of Hell. It would’ve made much more sense to split those two responsibilities and have the boys each play to their strengths. While I loved Sam’s ‘light at the end of the tunnel” speech, giving him the trials only reinforced Dean’s “I’m a grunt” perspective. So now his sole purpose is to protect Sam at all cost — the exact opposite of what the speech was trying to accomplish. I wonder if the writers understand psychology? I’m not giving up, tho. Dean has to have something to do. After all he’s the best hunter on the planet, right?

  • BigBrotherFan

    @No_Lie

    Stop getting dramatic. NASHVILLE does not lose “CHUNKS” of it’s lead-in. You sound worse than MAX. STAND DOWN!

  • Kevin

    Wednesdays still SUCKS especially if CSI never ever going to quit. :-(

  • Ultima

    @rob60990
    And wasn’t that for the results show?

    Yes, but the comparison was made to a results show from 2002.

    Also, right now there aren’t even performance/results shows, they’re still in Hollywood week.

  • Potato

    @Big Brother Fan

    A pig? What, you mean in how she acts? She’s greedy? She’s disgusting? Oh, wait, you mean her looks, don’t you. She should be unsuccessful because of her looks? Well that’s nice.

  • Dóchas

    Happy for Supernatural. I thought last night’s episode had some wonderful moments. With a new director for last night’s eppy, it actually had some old school SPN elements. He did a great job.
    Chicago Fire – I like you, I really do but just give me Casey, Severide, Shay and leave the rest. They are boring.
    Haven’t watched Arrow yet so I can’t speak on it.

  • Kevin

    Hope SURVIVOR gets canceled soon. :-(

  • No_Lie

    I fully believe that “Max” works for this site and his role is to say stupid things to increase hits. How else to explain him usually being the first one to post? No real person could possibly be that pathetic as to sit on their computer just waiting for the overnight ratings post just so they can pounce on it. Could they?

  • Ethan

    Good for arrow, and CF…for those who think the CF ratings are bad, tell me what NBC scripted drama is currently beating it (not counting those that haven’t had a spring premiere yet)…none? Yea, that’s what I thought.
