Looks like CNN’s decision to air wall-to-wall coverage of the cruise ship paid off quite well during primetime.
CNN is on Fire!
Greta finishes in last place once again.
Ok I got it, 75% 0f Fox viewers are really old
And more than 1/2 of MSNBC viewership are low information voters.
@Chriscee
Actually, MSNBC viewers are better informed than Fox News viewers.
Also, Rachel Maddow viewers are the most informed viewers out there. The Daily Show viewers also ranks very high…even higher than O’Reilly’s viewers.
@Doug
I am surprised who the hell cares about some crap filled cruise ship? wow
@ Site moderators (Bill, Sara, Amanda, etc.)
If it’s quick and easy, can you occasionally post the number and percentage of viewers under 25 and over 54 (separately) for each network at each time slot?
It’s well known that cable news audiences (and news audiences in general) skew older. But, I’m stunned to see just how old these numbers suggest cable news viewers really are.
Take the 9PM slot, for example:
There appears to be a huge disparity between younger viewers and older viewers.
FNC: 15% of their audience is in the 25-54 demo.
CNN: 27% of their audience is in the 25-54 demo.
MSNBC: 30% of their audience is in the 25-54 demo.
I’m curious to know the number and percentage of viewers that are under 25 (alone), and the number and percentage that are over 54 (alone), for each network.
Thanks.
Because you say so Mark…only because you say so. Actually Fox News gives both perspectives…which MSNBC CLEARLY FAILS TO DO…on a regular basis. So the MSNBC only has one perspective….the left wing kook perspective….which is why YOU left wingers are called LOW INFORMATION VOTERS.
lol@mark2
What do liberal viewers do if they want to see the Jessie Jackson JR story? MSNBC will not show the story tonight because they won’t be able to blame Republicans for it. I doubt they will say a word tonight. The first mention will be either morning Joe or Chuck Todd.

So, MSNBC and Daily Show viewers know that Jessie Jackson JR, a democrat, stole $750,000 from his campaign funds, and most likely will do 5 years in prison? Or that Sen Menendez, a democrat is accused of statutory rape by having sex with underage hookers in the Dominicna Republic, or that he accepted gifts from one of his major contributors, which once he was caught, paid him $60,000 so he could claim he refunded him…and now we’re seeing evidence that he also was involved in pay to play with the contributor?
No, MSNBC and the Daily Show only talked about Sen Rubio, a republican, for taking a sip of water during a speech…I wonder which ones were the worst, but totally ignored by MSNBC and the Daily Show…
Stan T. you are good, but they can not read, just cut and paste
Zucker likes @piersmorgan. SAFE. Net moving more political left, with tabloid infusion. Trash? ‘It’s not dad’s CNN, anymore’. Ratings bump?
He followed it up with more thoughts on CNN’s recent changes, asking whether Zucker’s positive remarks about controversial liberal host Piers Morgan means the network wants to present itself as part of the “political left” with a “tabloid infusion.”
“Ratings bump?” he asked, suggesting that CNN’s move towards “trash” would be an attempt to drive up ratings for the network which often finishes third among the cable nets:
@Kendall
But you aren’t seeing the bigger picture….FNC gets more 18-54 viewers…it’s just that they get 2-3 times as many total viewers, so yes, their percentage of young viewers is lower…you can clearly see that Rachel Maddow get’s 2/3 of her numbers from older people.
what you should do, is compare the percentage of the youth viewer each network gets…8PM prime-time:
FNC 414
CNN 191
MSNBC 230
TOTAL 835
So the percentages are:
FNC: 49.5%
CNN: 22.8%
MSNBC 27.5
Obviously, FNC is getting way more of a percentage of the youth viewers that either CNN or MSNBC…in fact, they are almost getting the combination of CNN and MSNBC.
“Since leaving NBCUniversal, Gollust has served as communications director for Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York. The Governor’s brother Chris Cuomo joined CNN from ABC in late January.”
Are liberals too stupid to make any connections and see how biased, partisan, and liberal the media is. How stupid can liberals be to only see bias at FOX news?
Zucker, a penultimate classic case of showbiz execs rebooting their documented failures ad nauseum again reaches out for his former confederacy of NBC dunces. . Presumably what this hire signals is that Zucker, seeing Fox too formidable a fortress to chip audience from, has pivoted to target MSNBC, nudging the already left-leaning CNN further left to poach on that limping
leftist gasbag gulch that is MSNBC. It makes more sense if your objective is to limp forward
to the finish line of your fat contract and run for the nearest assisted living facility. Presumably this will be a pit stop for Ms. Gollust until Cuomo formally announces for 2016. Or until Mr. Zucker is once again unmasked, given his check and politely ushered through the door. usa, Jeff ,Mark2,readers are invited to guess odds on how long it will take Turner to realize you can’t make a gazelle out of a dying elephant.
Piers Morgan is the equivalent of the circus barker for CNN. Obviously the network will keep him.
Of course, to win REAL Liberals, CNN would have to engage in the extremist banter that is typical of the radical “journalists” at MSNBC…who report propaganda and simultaneously try to paint everyone who disagrees with their slant as “Far Right Wing nuts.”
Isn’t one POLITBURO network enough?
What a coincidence…GE made $6 BIllion in profits, paid no taxes, even received a refund…Jeff Emelt was one of Obama’s buddies…Now Facebook made $1 Billion in profits and is not only not paying taxes this year, they are getting $429 million in as a refund….and he gave $1 Million to Obama’s campaigns…
But Fox News had to pay 47% in taxes….
Tell me Obama isn’t the worst at cronie capitalism in history….

What on earth are you talking about???
Did you bump your head on something?
Fox “News” is reporting the t-party has been supporting Big Tobacco. That figures…
