    What a coincidence…GE made $6 BIllion in profits, paid no taxes, even received a refund…Jeff Emelt was one of Obama’s buddies…Now Facebook made $1 Billion in profits and is not only not paying taxes this year, they are getting $429 million in as a refund….and he gave $1 Million to Obama’s campaigns…

    But Fox News had to pay 47% in taxes….

    So, what you are seriously suggesting, is that the United States government has committed tax fraud (Obama personally runs the IRS!), either on behalf of some corporations, or against others? Boy, if only there were some sort of, I don’t know, multi-billion dollar news organization that could look into this…like a, a News Corporation, of sorts, with a horde of investigative journalists in their employ..if only.

    Also, GE gave more money to the Romney campaign in 2011 – 2012 than it gave to Barack Obama. This is true of many of the other companies that either paid no taxes, or even got money back. What’s the problem, Stan, trying to punish success? That’s socialist talk.

    What’s your source for the 18-54 ratings?

    I’ve seen 25-54 and 18-49 ratings on this website, but haven’t come across 18-54.

  • Mitch

    Go CNN!!

  • Mark2

    @Rod D

    StanT has no clue what he’s talking about. He’s known for making stuff up and then leaving once he’s asked to back up his erroneous statements.

  • AppleStinx

    Wow! More viewers in the demo than FNC and MSNBC combined at 11pm. Where’s the press release? Hasn’t CNN given Erin Burnett a contract extension yet? :lol:

    Fox has cornered the market on the Lawrence Welk crowd…

    Thanks for commenting.

    “Obviously, FNC is getting way more of a percentage of the youth viewers that either CNN or MSNBC…in fact, they are almost getting the combination of CNN and MSNBC.”

    I agree with your analysis. However, I’m not sure how it’s related to the question I asked the moderators. I was interested in knowing how old or how young cable news viewers really are. We can get some idea with the 25-54 and 35-64 demos. But, those two ranges don’t account for the entire audience. I wanted to know the breakdown of the remaining viewers. Ex:

    Let’s take O’Reilly…

    2,760 (total)
    414 (25-54)

    That means 2,346 viewers are under 25, over 54, or some combination of both. I wanted to know what that number and percentage is…for example: 1,323 (56%) over 54, with 1,023 (44%) under 25.

    That data doesn’t seem to be readily available. I was hoping this site would locate and publish it…but, only if it’s not a bother.

    I know the loons on the left cant (not enough pictures) or wont (if Obama didnt say it it aint true) read this but DOCTOR Maddow showed her vast and saint like intelligence……………again! :lol:

    Rachel Maddow Hyperbolic in Deceit About GOP Filibustering Hagel

    The Republican filibuster of Chuck Hagel for defense secretary is utterly unprecedented, claims an insistent Rachel Maddow — providing that you ignore previous examples of filibusters aimed at cabinet nominees.

    On her MSNBC show last night, Maddow described GOP use of the filibuster to block Hagel’s nomination as seismic in significance and astronomically rare in frequency. Not surprisingly, Maddow got it wrong as she’s inclined to do.

    What on earth are you talking about???

    Did you bump your head on something?

    You never learned simple math? I even showed the numbers…it’s not like when the left just throws up random numbers and expects you to accept them…

    Oh my god, I made a typo…put it on MSNBC 155 times in one day…you’ve never made typos? Oh, I forgot, lefties are perfect…it’s the rest of us normal people who make errors…yes, it’s 25-54…that doesn’t change the numbers, which you know you can’t argue with, which is why you had to attack me for a typo…you can’t tell me you didn’t know what I meant…

  • Kendall

    @ Ratboy

    I think Maddow was talking about how it is unprecedented that a Defense Secretary nominee is being filibustered. And, the Newsbusters article you linked to criticizes her for her outrage, but doesn’t say whether or not she’s wrong. (If I missed that section, please point out). Thanks.

    If anybody knows if it really is true that a nominee for Defense Secretary was indeed filibustered for the first time, please say. That would be a bit of a black-eye for the Senate, I would think.

  • Mark2

    @Kendall and @StanT

    Let me help you guys out a little. According to the 18-49 ratings, OReilly gets around 257,000 viewers in that demo, so that means his numbers for under 25 are really low…less than 10% of his total viewership.

  • Stan T.

    @Kendall

    Yes, they rejected Bush Sr”s first secretary of defense…he had to settle for Tower…

  • Andies

    The next three years could be very good to CNN.. Well, until the next election rolls around. If by then they build a solid audience, they may give Fox and MSNBC a run for their money in the 2016 election ,,

    why didn’t you show how many Mr. Ed got as a comparison? I’m guessing because his number were so low it defeated the point of you posting…

    Mr Ed used to get 1/2 of Bill O’s audience then it went to 1/3 now its aproaching 1/4 that can not be good in any twisted lefty logic.

  • Kendall

    @ Stan

    Thanks.

    Did Maddow mention this? (I didn’t see the broadcast).

    She clearly leans left, but I usually find her assertions to be factual. When they’re not, she always corrects herself. (Her show, along with “Outfront” with Erin Burnett, are about the only cable “news” shows that I watch with any regularity…the rest are just too angry).
