MTV’S “” SEASON THREE PREMIERE
RANKS AS THE NIGHT’S TOP CABLES SERIES AMONG P12-34
Debut has a Strong 1.7 P12-34 and Ranks the #1 Series in its Timeslot
Across all Television with Males 12-34
New York, NY (February 15, 2013) – MTV had a strong Thursday night and drew in the male audience with the season three premiere of MTV’s “,” and the debut of new series “Failosophy.” Hosted by Rob Dyrdek with special guest Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, the premiere episode of “ ” ranked as the top cable series among P12-34 for February 14. Drawing in 1.7 million total viewers, the debut also ranked as the #2 series in its timeslot across all television with P12-34. It garnered a strong 1.7 P12-34 rating, which is up 21 percent from the last season premiere, and the show was the #1 series in its timeslot across all television among males aged 12-34.
New series “Failosophy,” which premiered following “,” was the #1 series in its timeslot with male teens across all TV. The show had a 1.0 P12-34 rating, and attracted 1.1 million total viewers.
According to Social Guide, “” ranked as the most social cable series of the evening, generating nearly 30,000 tweets. In addition, “Failosophy” broke the top 15 most socially engaged shows with its premiere, ranking as the #11 most social cable series.
“Ridiculousness” Season 3 – Thursdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT
Next week on “Ridiculousness,” Mac Miller guest stars on an all-new episode to discuss his hilarious alter ego, “Hairy Lovestein” with Rob Dyrdek and show viewers what it means to take a “Leap Of Faith.”
“Ridiculousness” is hosted by Rob Dyrdek and breaks down the internet’s most hilarious and extreme videos with co-hosts Chanel “West Coast” and Sterling “Steelo” Brim. This season, fans can expect guest appearances by Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, musician Mac Miller, model/actress Carmen Electra, Jackass crew members Steve-O and Bam Margera, professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, UFC President Dana White, rally driver Ken Block and actor Eddie Barbanell. This season will feature all new video categories such as, “Nut Snipers,” “Russian Good Times,” and “Probably Florida.”
