Scandal did not grow from Grey’s and is starting to decline like I said.
Wow, Supernatural actually beat The Vampire Diaries this week!
I agree. I was against the idea of moving Grey’s to 8pm before but now I actually think it is the best idea. Scandal will still have its protection and it will be a way to let it slowly get used to the slot, since Grey’s will eventually have to end, as much as I adore it. Also, it would solve (even if only temporarily, since Grey’s would end) the 8pm death slot issue and allow Scandal to be used as a lead-in…
Does anyone else think that NBC should air an hour-long blind auditions on premiere week on Thursday against American Idol? Just like they did back in the fall with The X Factor? It would probably give The Voice some MAJOR bragging rights…
Zero Hour is DOA…
Wow! Elementary up from last week. so much for the V-day curse. Still not good for ZH, but we may yet see all of the episodes air at least.
Lol, I could have sworn everyone said TVD was guaranteed to adjust up??! Nielsen TOTALLY must’uv rigged the results!!!! *sarcasm*
Rob60990
Les that’s a large decline indeed.. What a dummy
lol at Scandal
Scandal should be making 3.0′s. Elementary is such a weak competition.
POI and TBBT the best on Thursday nights!. Period
Supernatural actually beat TVD?? Wow.
And Scandal adjusts down.
It will NEVER beat Grey’s!
Zero Hour with its 1.4 rating is still ABC’s lowest in-season premiere ever. I believe My Generation had a 1.6 and The Whole Truth a 1.5.
Which NBC sitcom will be the first to dip below a 1.0? Go On, The New Normal, Community, Whitney, Guys with Kids or 1600 Penn? Wow, the fact that there are actually six very real candidates for that unique “honor” must have NBC reaching for the panic button…
By the way, does anyone remember that a similar ratings trend happened last year? The ratings took a weird nosedive in mid-February and never recovered for the rest of the season. If that also turns out to be the case this year, those spring #s are NOT going to look good.
@omabin
That is my point. You said it “considering there is zero drama competition” and only x factor/idol like real one, but POI beat x factor already when face it in the fall. Every single time. And will add most important thing ZERO football during fall. And less big NBA games during spring. All of these affect male POI viewers. As i said it when POI premiere this season when football is over POI will be 3+ until april and that is what happen. That benefit the most POI. Assuming will grow more(as i said usually 3rd season is the best for hit dramas) will be new beast drama #1 for CBS and broadcast. But i agree cbs will need something good for thursdays to make that move.
Beauty & the Flop…timeslot is cursed
Damn I was hoping TVD would adjust up. Oh well it will have better ratings next week. Glad to see Zero Hour and Elementary adjusted up.
I figured 12.8 million would be the low this week for Idol, but it seems they are ahead of the curve in its downward spiral. That initial report of 12.3 million? I don’t think it will stop there. Thursday’s viewership in the 18-49 demo is obviously an all-time low.
Just in case you’re wondering, the show’s lowest total viewership was reportedly 7.5 million, from the results of the third group of 10 in qualifying in the 1st season. Unless they decide to stay past the breaking point (which I believe will be 2015), we will not see that day return.
@rob60990
Seriously, Max is so damn boring and you are also becoming one. Don’t be like him, or better yet, don’t be like that.
You’re always criticizing the shows you don’t like. I think Scandal is a good show and I bet your shows are also good.
Just be respectful.
move Nikita after TVD and BatB to Fridays
@Petar
What is this NCIS Red anyway? They moving the spin-off to Russia or something?
who cares if scandal beats greys. greys is already on its last leg
And someone, please, fix my comment.
