Community, Zero Hour, American Idol, Grey's Anatomy, Elementary and The Big Bang Theory were each adjusted up a tenth, while Scandal was adjusted down a tenth among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Thursday broadcast ratings.

Yeah, those are all fair points, but I don’t see CBS just leaving Thursdays so unprotected like that, after all the trouble they went through to guarantee that they would win Thursdays this year with TAHM moving and all. I am growing suspicious that CBS will create an hour of single cams though judging by how much they have ordered of them. If that happens, I think they will do it at Wednesday at 8, I doubt they will mix them with multicams on Thursdays…
Was that a series low for TVD? I hope not because last night was the best episode of the season, it deserves better! Hopefully it rebounds next week.
@Derek: NBC will certainly consider giving it a try. Idol was too much of a pit bull for them to try it beforehand. Now that it’s a poodle, they can afford to be the hawk that swoops down to grab it! [Sorry if I made anyone cringe.]

Yay Elementary adjusted up! Come on baby, you can do it! The show has potential and just needs some fine tuning. The character stuff was awesome this week!
I like seeing Grey’s still so robust for a show on it’s eight season, both ratings and creativity wise.
I used to like Glee, and I get this schadenhard-on to see it plummet on the ratings, matching the plummeting creativity. This show is now like Gossip Girl levels of embarrassing, just with singing.
The crowd goes wild! SPN tied TVD in demo for the first time and had more viewers. (Course it won’t last, but it feels good to type that

Well, I guess NBC will keep Parks & Rec, Go On and Whitney and cancel everything else.

Maybe people think midseason shows are the leftovers of the networks so they assume they’re all crap and decide not to watch.

TVD is a tied series low in the demo, it’s not a series low in total viewers. Season 3 ep 19 had a 1.0 demo and 2.21 million viewers. That was the previous series low. This ep tied the series low demo, but is still higher in total viewers than 3×19. It also had a 2.22 mill in 3×20, but the demo rose to a 1.1.
PoI got a 3.0 and actually DIDN’T get adjusted down. Amazing!
Glad also that Elementary got adjusted up. It doesn’t really seem to be affected by anything up or down. It’s consistently mediocre.
