Nice to see Community adjust up, but unfortunate that P&R didn’t. I’m thinking Community will get back up to a 1.4 next week, hopefully.
It sucks that Scandal was adjusted down but Grey did run over 2 minutes. Either way, I don’t see this as a problem or something bad, Scandal is still going great and the highest rated drama of the week at 10pm.
I’m not sure why Scandal haters are rejoicing over a .1 drop from a series high. A 2.7 is far better than 95% of the dramas that ABC had this week. Hell, Outside of Modern Family, Scandal beat out all comedies included!
Renewal is certain at this point.
Greys anatomy is still the best rated drama for the season among all networks… it is on its 9th season and it is still the first , it didnt decline ever lower than 2.8 which was a series low last year as well…scandal is a show with 1.9 ratings for its first season and the first half of its second season…
Greys anatomy this year introduced new people …a lot of them and it focuses on them a lot which is an attempt to add new blood in the show so that the show can continue maybe beyond season 10 even with main cast gone… or even a new spinoff …
You are judging ABC’S second best performer for 9 consecutive years…
The show has made so much money for the network that even if it had low 1s if Shonda wanted to continue with it they would .
Greys anatomy is ABC’S anchor on thursdays like modern family is their anchor on wednesdays and Once upon a time on Sundays… the other non scripted anchor is Dancing which has lower 18-49 ratings but it has many million viewers and it can semi support monday and tuesday shows…
Awesome for SPN and Arrow this week beating out TVD and B&TB =)
@omabin
unfortunately i think you are right. And may be for better. The best time to move drama is when is in prime so after season 3 will be perfect time.
By the way CBS Monday comedy block and without the voice don’t look so great this week.
8 pm hour is 2.9
9 pm hour is 3.3(because of the 2BG)
With the voice return this will go down a lot. Which means better moms works on cbs. Or TAHM back on Monday may be. Only 2BG is not enough and HIMYM is ending. I guess they will run without reruns HIMYM last season so to premiere one more multi cam or at least to try one more. But if moms flops cbs will be in danger.
ps cbs single comedy hour will flop big time on cbs. Its not their business. They made multi cams and procedurals because is what they do. They reruns strong and are strong in syndication. Single cams are like serialized dramas reruns bad and are weaker in syndication. I really doubt that they will put them on wednesday or any other day than friday.
@methix0r Julie only takes credit for stories we like. If we don’t like it then we need to “branch out, try new things” She’ll never admit she just screws up sometimes. It’s that simple. Fans get tired, they leave.
@Freyja – They did a wonderful job this week. I’m not completely sold on Arrow yet but Supernatural has had me from day one. I’m very proud of the cast and crew. Even the crew seems to have new life on twitter. Everyone just seems happy and I love it.

Gillian Alexy joined CBS’ upcoming “NCIS: LA” spinoff, “NCIS: Red,”
I really wish people were not celebrating Community bumping up to a 1.2 from a 1.1. Those numbers are embarassing. That show should be canceled in May. NBC must try all new sitcoms these low rated sitcoms are just not working for them.
As i get it its NCIS la spin-off. I don’t watch NCIS from 3 seasons already so not know much. Just read it.
Good numbers for Scandal. I never thought this show was going to be so strong.
POI continues it’s way up. Wining the time slot and almost 15 million viewers, wow!
Elementary 2.3 it’s not a great number for cbs ,but considering it is the 10 pm CBS show against the toughest competition, I say the result is good enough,
@Billy
Nothing is working on NBC unless it has The voice as lead in.
If Nbc didnt have the voice it would have ratings similar to CW
Go Scandal!

“So what’s the Fan Excuse Bingo for TVD? Valentine’s Day? Zero Hour? American Idol? Crappy, redundant writing?”
Valentine’s Day is definitely no good excuse for Idol. The show has lost more than 800,000 of its Wednesday viewers on Thursday for 4 of its 5 weeks:
Week 1: 1.65 million drop-off
Week 2: 420,000
Week 3: 1.98 million
Week 4: 990,000
Week 5: 860,000
That’s an average of 1.18 million of its Wednesday viewers not watching on Thursday. As a rule of thumb (certainly as of late), the performance and results shows follow the same pattern; that is, whatever the viewership is on Wednesday, Thursday’s viewership will probably be down by a million, if not more.
I am not surprised by the dip for Community. The premiere was really awful. I am sure people bailed thinking the show would now be just a bunch of throwaway gags like Family Guy instead of about the charecters we got to know the first 3 seasons. It’s a shame cause last nights episode minus the opening with Dean was back to normal.
and whats with Mathew Perry choices ? First mr sunshine and now Go on …I love the actor but the new comedies he participates in are so terrible nothing can save them…
@Peter Ivanov,
Yes, I sort of agree in regards to the single cams in CBS, it would be weird. And they have a lot of promising multi cam pilots this year (Mom, the Robin Willias one, the Rupert Grinn one), so it just seems strange to me that they are ordering so many single cams as well. Maybe they will try a comedy hour on Fridays?
