Community, Zero Hour, American Idol, Grey's Anatomy, Elementary and The Big Bang Theory were each adjusted up a tenth, while Scandal was adjusted down a tenth among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Thursday broadcast ratings.

@fringegot5seasons: funny that for a show that is “fading fast”, it still ties or beats POI so often. And has a similar demo most weeks, with half the viewers.
Community is soooo getting canceled.
With 30 Rock gone and The Office being terrible NBC which used to be known for its comedies tha were too smart for Broadcast Tv only has an hour of good comedies left (thurs. 8-9) and with Community in danger Parks and Rec might be the only one to stay. It may be stuck with possibly the worst non-CBS comedies (Whitney and Guys With Kids)

Can someone break it down how Valentine’s Day doesn’t affect ratings for tv series like TVD and BATB which demographic are mostly women and are heavy about romance?
I only ask because I see some comments here acting as those are overwhelming surprising numbers for those two TV series airing on Valentine’s Day. Yet for me it’s not surprising since last night was the first night in BATB’s run that I wasn’t home to watch it live due to going out and I’m pretty positive I can’t be the only viewer of either series who wasn’t doing the same thing!
Well, I was right on the money regarding Zero Hour. I predicted it would garner 1.4 demo. What I don’t like is that it has the same results of Revenge this week. Revenge deserves higher ratings. Anyways, Scandal did not overtake Grey’s Anatomy just yet.
And lastly, if Parks & Rec were facing The Big Bang Theory it would see a 1.2 demo as well. So I still feel Community and Parks & Rec’s performances are very similar.
Also, Greys Anatomy was fantastic last night. IMO, Season 9 is the best season of the show since the first 3 seasons.

Not a community fan but why does everyone think it would get canceled even though it did better than NBCs average…also with The Office, 30 Rock, Animal Practice all being canceled/ending and The New Normal being certain cancelation, guys with Kids hitting 1.0, Go On flopping despite its Olympic promotions and Voice lead in, Whitney having similar/worse ratings not to mention every single one of NBCs new comedies underperforming dramatically I doubt NBC will be too excited to cancel too many of its comedies especially if community stays at a 1.3/1.4

If it stays around 1.3 sure it might be ok but if it was to drop again no there would no point keeping it.
Glee won’t be cancelled anytime soon. The show makes A LOT of money for FOX with merchandising, international rights, iTunes and album sales, DVDs and other products. I did read somewhere that Ryan Murphy only wanted to do the show for six seasons but who knows what will happen.
