@Rob R
does this mean “Scandal” has peaked too soon?
Why would you think Scandal has already peaked? It’s way up from last year and this fall.
I don’t know why networks don’t wait for final numbers to do those press releases- especially ABC.
tvd is so bad this season. they deserve these ratings. this season of delena and elena being sired is awful. they really need to end this love triangle once and for all.
@JR35
I don’t know why networks don’t wait for final numbers to do those press releases
Because a press release that comes out during the middle of the day reaches a lot more people than one that comes out after 5:00pm eastern.
GO CBS!! POI #WINNER!!
So Community and TBBT both adjust up and that mean they both are down 7 tenths (on a holiday) from last week yet everybody is worried about Community. TBBT has a lot more room to fall but that still a steep drop. I expect both shows to be up next week. Gosh, May cant get here soon enough so people can shut up
No fun when all the shows during a time period adjust up (well, at least on the adult networks)
Shows as Scandal and RVN prove that demo viewers watch TV at 10 pm when shows are good.
@ Jo
Great idea Zero Hour would be perfect on Syfy
@Ram510
May cant get here soon enough so people can shut up
You and I remember last May very differently…
The big question for CBS is will they expand Thursday to a 2 hour comedy block. This would be there best opportunity to do so with The Office ending and Grey’s in decline. If they do not, then only 1 new comedy will be premiering in the Fall. I feel Elementary is not strong enough to stay on Thursday, so why not go for it
Sunday
7pm 60 Minutes
8pm The Amazing Race/Survivor
9pm Elementary
10pm The Mentalist(18 episodes)/The Good Wife(13 episodes)
Monday
8pm How I Met Your Mother
8:30pm *The Crazy Ones w/Robin Williams- I would try the single cam here
9pm 2 Broke Girls
9:30pm Mike & Molly
10pm *Hostages w/Toni Collette
Tuesay
8pm NCIS
9pm *NCIS:Red
10pm Hawaii Five-O
Wednesday
8pm NCIS:LA
9pm *Intelligence w/Josh Holloway
10om Criminal Minds
Thursday
8pm The Big Bang Theory
8:30 *Mom
9pm Two & a Half Men
9:30 *Ex Men w/Tony Shalhoub- I would try another single cam comedy
10pm Person of Interest
Friday
8pm *Beverly Hills Cop
9pm CSI
10pm Blue Bloods
CBS needs at least 7 new shows. They can’t just sit back and continue to rely on their older shows. They will see decline, with many nearing the end of their runs. So with 4 new dramas, that will give them a better chance of at least producing 2 hits that can help the network in the future. It is the same scenerio with the comedies since HIMYM and TAAHM should be ending.
PoI kept the 3.0
@ Petar Ivanov
Thanks for the CBS fall schedule link
COM for me would be Jacki Weaver “The McCarthy’s”
DRAM “The Advocates” CCH Pounder
EW featured NCIS spinoff & only revealed same as link
@jess
yes the pace of the storyline is moving very slow with the already bad storylines(that dumb ass sire bond and cure) on top of the fact that the originals have completely invaded the show and klaus refuses to die. and they keep shoving that awful love triangle in our faces. but its a shame the ratings fell last episode because it was one of the better ones this season.
LMAO at the people criticizing scandal’s 2.7. even if the show was doing 1.9-2.1 like the first few episodes of the season, it would be good enough considering all the other problems ABC has at the moment and the 10PM hour in general across all nights. but the show got bumps and those bumps stuck and now it’s the #1 10PM drama on all the networks.
anyway, i don’t expect that it’ll beat grey’s soon since grey’s seemed to have been more affected by v-day or whatever and the main hospital storyline is picking up major steam. but i can’t wait for the day (and i hope it comes this season) that they both do 3.0+!
i am new to the ratings game, but Elementery is 2.3 and Scandal is 2.7. I would think Elementry would be higher since it was lagged after the Super bowl. Most shopw get huge rating after the game right?
@networkman
10pm The Mentalist(18 episodes)/The Good Wife(13 episodes)
CBS typcially can only fit 23-24 episodes of a Sunday drama into the schedule. There’s no way 31 is happening.
Also, CBS isn’t known for shuffle shows all over the schedule. They’re finally #1 for the first time in forever, why would they makig big changes now?
People may criticise Elementary but it is VERY stable, hasn’t it been in the 2.2-2.4 range now for weeks
*make big changes
I’m dying from laughter at the people hating on Scandal’s adjustment. Where were they when the show was hitting series highs?
