Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.
Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

@scandalfan
how can u say that revenge isnt going to recover when it just went up 4 tenths thats a good sign. plus it still has one of the biggest dvr gains desperate housewives took a hit to a 1.8 and recovered to a 2.2 the next week and when it gets back it should get a 2.1 and for the rest of the season i expect it to get inbetween a 2.0-2.2
When ABC originals of Revenge and ONCE come back in March I’m hoping #s for both shows climb back to decent, stable #s. Of course, I’m going to be realistic in the sense that ratings will not match those of the premiere.
Word of mouth is that Sunday Nights episode of Revenge seems to get back on track of the greatness of Season one. I’m hoping this is true as I will be catching up on this weeks episode and the one prior on dvr. With all the Awards and football I am kinda behind for both shows..
I think Revenge will stabilize to a 2.3 in Spring and Once Upon A Time a 2.9. I hope the best for these shows that deserve good ratings.
ABC has some tough decisions regarding scheduling for Sunday night. Both Once Upon a Time and Revenge are capable of better numbers. This Fall, the network should really consider putting DWTS on Sunday.

Does anybody wonder what Max will comment when Revenge get’s renewed? I know I do.
Revenge was great even though I hated who they killed off.
Very Sad ending but the show is going to be around for a while,
it is an exciting show. I watch Revenge and Downtown Abbey every Sunday
new shows are on.
what?!? Once had no serious comp. right? why is it so low? People couldnt of lost interst so qqqqqquick, a few weeks ago it was 3.1. understand TGW and Revenge cuz it had The Walking Dead for comp. wow
LOL at this MAX guy, I see you on here every week, ranting on about revenge, what are you trying to prove? Most people probably ignore your comments by now anyway. Shut the F*** up. Yeah Revenge is doing badly, it’s been doing badly for weeks, we can see that ourselves through the numbers, you don’t have to comment every week like a sad, pathetic excuse for a man. Get a life and stop hating, find happiness or a wife or something :/ (P.S I would love to see Revenge get a third season just to see you freak out loool, Great to see OUAT slowly coming back on its feet as well, and I know SCANDAL is killing ‘em
@networkman
I honestly think that OUAT, Shark Tank, Suburgatory, and Nashville would crash in those slots. Then again, OUAT on Fridays isn’t the best either.
@Kier
Most people probably ignore your comments by now anyway
You should follow their example.
Shut the F*** up … you don’t have to comment … like a sad, pathetic excuse for a man. Get a life and stop hating
You should also follow your own advice.
CBS Sundays definitely need a shake up next season. The Good Wife will probably be renewed because of all the critical acclaim its getting, but it won’t stay on Sundays with those ratings. I think it will either become a 10pm drama or one for Fridays. The obvious choice for Sundays next season would be Person of Interest or Elementary.
ouat is nowhere near as good as it was in season 1. i only watch it now if i’m bored or there’s nothing else on that i want to watch. i know a lot of other people that have stopped watching too.
I’ve tried watching OUAT and I just can’t get into it. I don’t know if it’s the terrible acting, bad writing, or a combination of both. It just isn’t very good. It’s really cheesy and the acting is just flat out BAD. All the hype it was getting last year seems to be disappearing. I honestly don’t even see the show making it to past a third season. The ratings are sliding and it isn’t getting all the hype it was before.
@alvar Probably not. I’m betting Hawaii Five-0.
where are the walking dead numbers?
OUAT has strayed a little bit, many fan favorites characters are inexplicably missing or on the bench to give more exposure time to new characters that aren’t that likeable at all,
Night full of low ratings but Bob’s Burgers keeps staying steady.
It’s not a ratings hit by all means but it’s quite the dependable performer for Fox.
I think The Walking Dead has essentially killed prime time network tv ratings
@networkman
I think your mock schedule is the best I’ve seen on this site in a while.
Sorry but Max isn’t the issue, it’s the whiners that lose their rag EVERY SINGLE TIME he posts that do my head in. Forget about telling Max to get a life, you lot should get a freaking grip!
@Ram510, Thank you very much for the compliment. ABC needs to do something about DWTS and airing it against the peformance show of The Voice may not be the best bet going forward, so why not move it to Sunday. It would be great counterprogramming against football. It may skew older but be able to garner a nice size audience and it would allow those viewers who watch football to enjoy the scripted programs ABC has to offer on Tuesday.
