Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

on the plus side, once it returns march 10, revenge will have only one week of repeats left i think before the end of the season. so hopefully we’ll finally get some steady, positively trending ratings.

  • Ricky

Arrrgh. How does Revenge get almost a half-point rise but OUAT only gets two tenths? Jeez, the Revengers are a strong bunch, aren’t they? Too bad. OUAT was awesome last night, as expected. Wish it had had just as big a boost, if not bigger. After all, we the fen knew a massive twist was coming.

  • Just

    Revenge + 0.4 while OUAT only + 0.1

    nice scheduling ABC

  • Pat

Despite low ratings all around, if they hold, then I do believe this is the first time that Amazing Race beat OUAT in 18-49 for first run-episodes.

  • Kat B

    Dateline was a repeat!!!!

  • Andrew

Haha, oops. What am I thinking. The Oscars are on ABC…Ahaha.

  • CrimTV

I don’t understand why people have been saying that this season of Revenge has been bad, no, it’s not the first half of last season but it’s so much better than the second half of season 1!

It makes me laugh though when people are saying that it will be cancelled come May. Nope, this show will last 4 seasons for syndication!

  • Bookworm

That is what makes the numbers more pathetic. You can’t fault a show that has stayed steady at its premiere, rose and will even out somewhere in between eventually. However, when you have a show that premiered that high and within the same season has 3 episodes in the 1.0’s, you have to look twice at it. Revenge is not steady and very much a up and down show. You can’t rely on it any longer for steady Sunday numbers(no matter what the demo is).

A premiere of 3.0 or higher is irrelevant when you can’t and won’t see that number for a while.

Scandal will see a 3.0 eventually, it has already hit a 2.8 twice and I can imagine a 3.0 will come for the season finale or maybe before.

Revenge is not getting cancelled so we can just forget that. However, I doubt that ABC will leave it in the Sunday spot. It is not strong enough to deal with the wear and tear that comes with Sunday nights. OUAT will stay but Revenge will move for sure.

I do agree with Rob and Bill when they put Revenge as a renewal but not a certain.

I really don’t understand why so many commenters think CBS will combine The Amazing Race and Survivor next season, rather than running two seasons of each. Look at those ratings; Amazing Race is a full point higher than its lead-out. Survivor rating in the mid 2.0’s is down, yes, but so is everything else. But reality shows are cheaper to produce than scripted, and both Survivor and The Amazing Race are doing better than most of CBS’s hour-long dramas.

I hope Revenge gets the knife quick and fast! The writing is so horrible now I can’t even fathom why it wasn’t canceled midseason!

  • Nerdbot

When I saw that OUAT was up only a tenth, I thought Revenge did worse “bouncing up,” however .4 is not that bad and it’s higher than the last two episodes. I mean, it’s still low and these results are kinda worrying, but I hope it goes back to 2.sth when it comes back in March.

  • Alan

Revenge is doing fine considering how low is OUAT and how well it used to do last year. They should bring it back to Wednesdays next season!

    ONO! TGW!

  • Lukes

It is clear that it’s the whole sunday programming of ABC that doesn’t work, it’s not related to a specific show.

I must say though that neither OUAT nor Revenge did much to attract new viewers in this first part of the season.

I really don’t understand why so many commenters think CBS will combine The Amazing Race and Survivor next season, rather than running two seasons of each.

    People are seriously suggesting that?

  • Shepherd

My favorite new excuse that I heard is that the show (Revenge in this case) “would have done much better if it hadn’t of been up against a lot of big competition in the previous weeks”

    So cute.

Now we have two butt-heads posting first on Monday! Oh, happy day! More likely, the first jerk is just a Max sock puppet. He’s even dumb enough to post in all caps. See, this is what happens when you allow morons like Max to invade your Web site.

Nice to see Revenge bounced back up. Next episode should probably rise as well based on this week’s terrific episode.

And I was right on in my prediction of who would die – although it was very unclear almost up to the last minute.

  • PMR

How many aliases does that pathetic piece of crap Max have? LOL Sorry loser Revenge and Once did do much better. They don’t have a cushy Scandal spot but that show still sucks and always will. Too bad the only thing he lives for is a second rate show in life. POOR POOR POOR LOSER MAX and Paris etc.

  • A.C.

Can’ remember when that last happened if at all!
    Love TAR!

Did TAR deliver better ratings than SURVIVOR premiere? If so that could be a first as well!

  • jackson

I loved Revenge last night, very entertaining and SAD, but i do agree, the writing was a lil laughable. but i think they are finally getting the show back to where it was 1st season. the promo for the next new eopisode basically said “we are going back to the way the first season was”
