    Greg Yaitanes tweeted that Banshee’s episode this week did better than the pilot in terms of ratings, no exact numbers though

    Gravity Falls did quite well, considering it has been over four months since the last new episode. I was fearing the worst, that perhaps a lot of its audience had grown tired of the wait and just moved on (especially considering how a lot of them are arguably not the typical Disney audience.)

    @Michael, there’s no word on Psych getting cancelled. What I do know is Maggie Lawson is leaving the show to do a new series with James Caan. My guess is contracts are up so it’s likely up to the cast & producers if they want to continue. I’m sure USA would love to keep it around longer.

    Looking at all the terrible tv Friday night, I’m appalled that Spartacus and Banshee don’t even register.

    Spartacus has really fallen in quality(imo) since the first season, but it still is a quality show.

    And while Banshee isn’t gonna win any awards, and it’s just a little too “out there” for a show based somewhat on reality(I’ll give an example in a minute), it is a very enjoyable hour of tv run by a proven tv guy in Alan Ball…..yet no one is watching.

    One quick example for Banshee being a little too out there…..there are many, but one that kinda had me shake my head was the third episode when he was fighting the boxer guy. Now for a reality based show(by that I mean it’s real life stuff and nothing at all “supernatural”), are you telling me a local cop can invade a live event at a casino and beat someone senseless? Imagine a UFC event in Atlantic City. The champion of the world is in town for a title bout. While the fight is about to begin, a cop walks up and proceeds to start a 4 minute brawl that goes into the crowd weapons and all????? And no one stops it? Bouncers? Security? Law enforcement? While it was an awesome scene and I was like OH S*IT, it kinda takes me out of the moment how over the top and unbelieveable it is.
