Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

What might hurt both shows is how strong the piolts are for the Cw this is not a good year for shows that are on the bubble.

  • methix0r

Lol at all you castle fans , Castle beats h50 for like the first time this season and you are all saying h50 flop its cancelled , AHAHAH you guys are all insane.

  • Kyle

GO CASTLE! This show has been steady all season with either DWTS or The Bachelor.

Also good to see ROE steady. Under rated show.

  • mesjarch

Castle fans are not saying anything like it. 95% comments made are about Castle alone where no one compares it to H50. It’s just once again that some people here like to bash Castle and it’s fans for things that weren’t even written.

  • Lara

Last season and this season of 90210 have been utter crap. Ever since Sinclair left as EP, the show has went down hill. I didn’t event purchase Season 4, and I’ve got all the other previous seasons. CW please cancel the show, so I can stop watching it.

  • Lauren

@Vcoolwater Hart Of Dixie is strong on DVR and is close to syndication.

And I don’t think BATB lost the half of its audience because of Valentine’s Day.

  • Tony ^_^

FOX is celebrating. For now. :D Though I can’t get over the fact that “Bones” has the exact same viewers at “The Following” but its demo rating is lower…

CBS down but “Rules of Engagement” is doing better than “Partners”.

“The Bachelor”?!? How did it grow all of a sudden?!?

    NBC who?

Lol… The CW. “90210” is done! :o Sorry to the fans but it isn’t getting a final season.

  • Kavyn

If 90210 writers decided to write yet another cliffhanger for their finale, then the only people they can blame are themselves. Renewing the show JUST because the writers were cocky enough to assume another renewal is moronic, especially considering 90210 is the only network show this season to hit a 0.2.

If the CW renews 90210 for anything more than a 2 hour movie, then they are complete idiots.

  • Vcoolwater

DVR doesn’t make a difference in renewal. It just a pointless statistic that the broadcast channels use in their press releases.

Plus BATB was only down a tenth just like TVD. Hart and BATB are even in the ratings. If BATB makes more money overall than HOD. HOD will be cancelled.

Plus HOD is not even close to syndication. If it was in 3rd season like Nikita, then that arguement will work. If CW renews HOD, it is basically renewing the show for two years. This might work against HOD. CW might not want to commit to HOD for two years. In fact it might get BATB another chance next year. Plus the CW execs see growth potential in BATB.

As of right now, I don’t think you can predict which show will be saved.

  • Guadalupe

Love Castle! Really happy that did good last night. Hoping it will do better every day:)

  • Tim

Hawaii FO is a flop. The show was lucky enough to be in an easy spot for two years, weak competition and huge lead in.
Hawaii gets a bigger lead in than Castle, and Castle still wins. And Castle is cute, but it is not like Hawaii is against Grey’s Anatomy or Scandal.
This show won’t even get a 1.1 demo on Friday or Sunday when it drops now to a 2 after a 3.1. That is going to be fun to watch, I think Grimm will beat Hawaii.
And Hawaii was the biggest CBS project in 10 years that was going to get high 4 demos, I still remember that poll.. Bummer :)
Now, SO happy for The Following. That is a real good show, plot and acting. A 2 .8 after a 2.1 lead in . That is a real winner.
Counting days for Revolution. Another good show.

    “RIP 90210! RIP Carrie Diaries.

I guess they’ll renew Cult, Hart Of Dixie, Nikita and maybe Beauty and the Beast even if the show doesn’t deserve it with its ratings”

Nikita is the one that doesn’t deserve to be renewed with its ratings

  • Ateofi

I see the troll is back.

  • Lauren

“DVR doesn’t make a difference in renewal” Thanks for the laugh!

  • She

    90210 0.0 (fingers crossed)

  • Lauren

“Nikita is the one that doesn’t deserve to be renewed with its ratings”

Syndication! + Nikita has no lead-in. BATB is the only show with awful ratings and the best lead-in.

  • Nicole

Nikita and Beauty deserved to be cancelled as well as 90210 and carrie. The only shows that deserve renewal are VD and SN and that new one Arrow. Even though in my opinion it sucks.

  • Holly

“DVR doesn’t make a difference in renewal” Thanks for the laugh!

Live+7 numbers do not make a difference in renewal. C3 numbers (and if the networks get their way C7 numbers in the future) do matter. Until the nets can figure out a way to make money off all the people who skip over commercials, those viewers won’t be important for renewal decisions.

  • Sally

Every CW’s show deserves to be canceled.
Why not to kill them all?

  • Nick

ABC tied for number one with adults 18-49
