Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Has anybody else noticed that 90210 hit a .2/0? How could the ratings share be a 0? I’m confused.

  • Win

And cue the Nikita bashers in 3…2….1…..

Nikita recovered from .2’s and .3’s did it not?

Did it not move time-slots and then do so?

Did it not move into a time-slot it previous held and reach numbers it previous got?

I think we all know the answer is yes.

    That’s all I’m getting at with 90210.
It’s been shipped as a lead-out to a new show.
    in a death slot.
90210 has hit rock bottom since moving time-slots and gaining TCD as a lead-in.
When it was Nikita you cry Foul.
    but since it’s 90210 it’s “justice”

Moving it, would probably cause an increase.
Since that won’t happen we’ll never know though huh.
    good day.

The Following was so nerve wracking last night I was yelling back at the TV. Haven’t done that since 24 was retired. This show can definitely get under your skin & you’re invested in the characters fate. This show will be back above 3 next week I’m sure.

  • MichaelChickless

Bacon sizzles! Nice rebound for The Following!

Not too hot for Five-O. Hopefully Bones and Five-O adjust up.

  • Percysowner

I know the CW likes to reward its fans by giving a final season to long running shows, but 90210 is so low, I don’t see how they can do that. Maybe a 2 hour movie to run in the summer or during winter break to wrap up stories, but 10 episodes would be a really unusual choice.

  • AA

CW needs to write the writers of 90210 a note that hey need to wrap things up.

  • Fourat

    Move back 90210 to 8pm !!

  • juliedawn

Okay there is NO way the CW can even entertain the thought of giving 90210 a final season with a .2 demo and a ZERO share. If they really want some kind of wrap up, then a 2hr TV movie at best, and I’d be surprised if that rated much higher.

  • Justin

Shame that TCD hit a 0.4 in the demo. The New York episodes tend to do much better and the series needs some serious work now that it’s halfway done. 90210 is just over and should be cancelled.

Question for those who may know. I don’t know much about the adjusting up and down process with half hour demos for the final number. How would a show get adjusted? Does it only apply to those who’s half hours aren’t the same demo?

  • zth

Indeed, last night’s episode of The Following was one of the most intense episodes in television in recent memory. I expect a 3.4 next week.

  • Perdix

    Is the average ratings correct?

  • Ruan

Great! “The Following” is back up. Hopefully it will adjust up to a 2.9, seeing how that’s what it got for the second half hour.

But, like someone said some pages ago, it’s depressing to see things like “The Bachelor” hit a 3.0 while good shows die.

  • RiP 90210

even though i do not like saying this, i believe we have reached the end of 90210. i love the show, but ever since the old writer left it has been on borrowed time. I was hoping for a short final season, but I’m not holding my breath. Even though I would watch the final season, I think it would be devastating if the CW kept it another year. even GG never got down to a 0.2 Because of the problems this spin off has had, we can be sure that they will not visit the Beverly Hills 90210 universe for another spin off. I would still like a short sixth season, but I do believe this show is dying a slow painful death. TCD will be cancelled for sure. It’s on what the fifth episode, and has dropped to a 0.4? That’s terrible. I’m hoping Cult is a hittt.

  • Cara

CBS shows did fine last night!

  • rob60990

Looks like NBC is the biggest loser on Mondays now

I guess the Following isn’t going down after all

    Natalie Zea–YAY

  • Rebecca

Castle :D I’m half done watching it online now. Also enjoyed HIMYM and Rules last night.

  • Ateofi

I just checked ratings for CBS monday shows from few weeks ago. They were much better for all comedies and H50 when TBBT reruns aired. They got better demo, above 3 and it boosted the whole evening much more than Rules of Engagement.

  • AverageJoe

Great for HIMYM, doing so well in its eighth season. Also, it made a decent improvement from last week’s episode, not to mention, tying with 2BG.

Don’t watch Rules of Engagement, but I’m impressed at how well its doing, seems to be underrated (IMO).

WHY is the CW still airing 90210? Repeats of any of their other shows do way better than two new episodes put together. Just cancel it.

  • Sam

Nice one for The Following! Great to see it rebound, it was a brilliant episode.

2 Broke Girls is just mega for CBS! Really really really funny show!

Sad to see that next season is HIMYM’s last, but good to see it finish off on a high, which is unusual for shows these days.

Carrie Diaries… it’s disappointing. I don’t particularly like the show, but I always kind of root for the underdog show to do well.

90210.2 is just ridiculous! Time to pull the plug on that one! It may be a ‘veteran’ but it does NOT deserve a final season with those numbers!

Pretty good for Rules of Engagement too.
