Did you even read the article? Fox News was number three considering ALL ad supported cable netowkrs, not only cable news networks.

They easily outperformed CNN and MSNBC

The battle for #2 in cable news is heating up. CNN has the momentum at the moment.

As long as Fox outperforms CNN and MSNBC, that’s all that counts….

Um…wasn’t it just the other day one of the lefties was claimiing that MSNBC was #1 in cable news for January 2013….of course, when you read the whole article, they were #2, not #1….now this…I wonder how they will try to spin it? lol

This is a BOGUS story–sounds like it was written by Fox. The fact is, as seen in the actual number, Fox is losing audience and has the lowest audience in 12 years. Further, Fox loses all key demos in primetime to MSNBC and CNN. Fox has a DISPROPORTIONATE number of old viewers–it’s almost half their audience.

  • Stan T.

So they’re whinning about CHina cyber hacking our secrets…..I got one question…if you dont want it hacked, why do you have it on the internet? It’s the same logic…if you don’t want the world to see you naked, don’t put your nude pics on the internet…

If this report is true, his is truly concerning. This goes to further prove that Americans are the most un-informative blind sided hateful individuals in the Universe. It means the majority of American people continue to listen to bigots and exploiters such as Hannity and O’Riele. Now whether they do this for pure entertainment or simply to feel that they are in the same KKK club, is of course a different story.

    Hey Sara,

For the week ending Feb 17th, Fox actually finished 6th behind TNT, USA, Disney, History, and TBS during primetime.

Tvbythenumbers never misses an opportunity to play of Fox News. If you look at other media reports, the story is about Fox’s declining viewership – here it is always trumpeting any good news that might fall Fox’s way. This site always makes sure to do full stories on Fox coverage plans (never CNN or MSNBC)and trumpets particular dates when Fox viewership is higher than average as if it were the norm. MSNBC’s audience has climbed by over 30% in the past year while Fox viewership is down more than 10% for the same period – crickets on that though from this site. Just scroll through the non ratings posts in the Cable News segment – some CNN mentions, nothing on MSNBC, and a TON of Fox love grams. Go to TVNewser if you want honest coverage.
