There’s no reason for “Castle” to start at 10:01 though. I understand that when “DWTS” is on it’s a live show so it run’s into “Castle’s” hour all the time but ABC really shouldn’t be allowing “The Batchelor” to do that. It’s not live. It’s pre-recorded. Having it off by a minute against the competetion does it no favors.
I don’t watch “Revenge” and I don’t watch “OUAT” any more but I do watch “Scandal” religiously and “Castle” WAS NOT promoted during last week’s episode. I do remember one promo at 3:30 AM though.
I guess that must have been the one to put it over the top. LOL.

Cult will obviously have to improve to at least a regular 0.4/0.5 but if it did manage to do so, my gut tells me that it would likely be renewed over TCD. Neither one is setting The CW on fire but Cult fits more with The CW’s new genre show identity.
Clearly the soapy teen dramas have had their day so why take a chance on the likes of TCD when you can move Cult to Fridays with Nikita and have a reasonably strong action/genre pairing there.
I am proud to be a H5O fan don’t get all this hate for this show I already read 4 nasty comments from some Castle fans if you never watch H5O keep your comments for yourself, show some respect! something I do for your show Castle which I never have seen.

ABC gets more money from a minute of advertising during The Bachelor than they do during Castle. There’s no downside.

I’m just glad “Castle” got adjusted up for once and was thinking that *maybe* if it had a full hour *within the hour* (like all the other shows get to have) it would have gotten an even hight demo. And the demo is the all important thing to the advertisers, the network, and the bean counters.
Grey, it also keeps it consistent through the season when DWTS does come back and runs until 10:01.
I should add that I don’t agree with it but understand why they do it.
CASTLE! WOHOO! Season high! So glad that this show has been really holding it’s own this season.
@Lena and @Serial Rocker. Totally agree. It has been way better this year though than in the past in terms of the H50 bashers of Castle and the Castle bashers of H50.
Next week’s episode of “The Following” looks fantastic and I’m like 99.9% sure that if anyone saw it they will tune in. Therefore, I see “The Following” either going up or staying steady next week in the ratings. No way that it will deflate after last night.
