Was really hoping that revenge got adjusted up was such a great episode

  • s0303

    i love tgw…oh well, it was a good 4 years…

  • Josh

    @Revenger

Are you in the U.S.A. Because I don’t remember Grey’s Anatomy being on Wednesdays ever last season. It was always on Thursdays at 9 followed by Private Practice at 10?

  • rob60990

Body of Proof returned with a 1.2. Revenge ain’t going anywhere. ABC has much bigger problems.

  • Oncer

Well that’s at least a little better, I’ll just be relieved when we get confirmation for a 3rd season last weeks rating for Tiny was a little alarming..

  • Samunto

Ouch for The Good Wife. Those numbers are getting embarassing. Those are the levels of Harry’s Law on NBC before the cancellation bear snaped it!

  • networkman

When will CBS switch the timeslots for The Good Wife and The Mentalist. The Good Wife is squandering the decent numbers from its lead in Amazing Race. Effective immediately, The Mentalist should switch to 9pm and then have The Good Wife at 10pm. And if CBS decides to bring it back, it should only have a shorten season of 13 episodes to finish its run.

  • Reven8ger

That’s what ABC should do next season:

    Monday: DWTS – New Drama
Thursday: DWTS (Results) – Castle – New Drama
Wednesday: The Middle – Suburgatory – Modern Family – New Comedy – Revenge
Thursday: Shark Tank – Grey’s Anatomy -Scandal
Friday: Last Man Standing – New Comedy – New Drama – 20/20
Sunday: Once Upon A Time – S.H.I.E.L.D – New Drama

So ABC will need 5 new dramas next season, and keep Nashville for mid-season, and they’ll need 3 comedies.

    @Revenger

Adjustments have NOTHING to do with the quality of a show, DVR numbers, or any other such nonsense. Preliminary numbers are the numbers for the hours. 8-9, 9-10, etc. The final numbers are the numbers for the shows. For example, OUAT ran from 8:00-9:01, so it was adjusted. If a show starts and ends on time, there will be NO adjustments. Get it?

  • rob60990

“If a show starts and ends on time, there will be NO adjustments. Get it?”

Not entirely true at all but it increases the chances for adjustments.

  • Shepherd

I didn’t say that a show that doesn’t start an end on time Will get adjustments, only that it wont if it runs as scheduled on schedule networks. I’ll admit that I ignored preemptions, but if you can’t understand that concept, then there’s no point trying to explain.

  • MichaelChickless

    Go Mentalist!

@networkman “When will CBS switch the timeslots for The Good Wife and The Mentalist”

I think they’re trying that this Sunday (though with repeat episodes) up against The Oscars.

  • Ram510

    @Revenger

That is a terrible schedule and nothing like that will actually happen

  • Ram510

    @ Reveng8er

That’s a solid schedule. I would wonder though if ABC would want to move Revenge yet again

  • Diego

ABC needs strong shows at 8pm. My schedule:

    Monday: DWTS (2H) – CASTLE
Tuesday: DWTS – New Drama – New Drama
Wednesday: The Middle – Modern Family – New Drama – Nashville
Thursday: Grey´s Anatomy – New Drama – Scandal
Friday: LMS – New Comedy – Shark Thank – 20/20
Sunday: AFHM – OUAT – New Drama – Revenge

Why do I get the feeling that some of the people who whine about the quality of S2 never even liked the show in the first place and are just repeating what some fans say?

I am not saying that S2 is better, but people have been harsh on it since the premiere. It’s had its contrived moments since S1, it’s just that the novelty wore off. I’m still enjoying it.

Would’ve liked it if Revenge adjusted up, but at least it wasn’t adjusted down. With all the positive buzz the latest episode has been getting, I see it going back to the 2’s in no time. Hope it hits at least 2.0 in 3 weeks.

  • aciel

suck on that haters revenge did not adjust down. and that episode was better than anything has done, plus everyone is buzzing about this episode meaning that its a sign that it will get a 2.0 when it gets back if not higher. anyone who has doubts that it will not adjust up needs to get their facts straight it just went up 29%

  • Derick

Anyone saying TGW needs to be “put out of its misery” obviously doesn’t watch it. Low ratings, fine, but y’all are looney tunes to suggest it’s anything but excellent.

  • Katherine

Will TGW fans ever admit that the show is anything less than the greatest show ever to air on television? I think not. Fans of struggling shows double down.

Personally, I think the assertion of the writers that they were giving the shows fans “what they want” at the end of season 2 might have been quite a bit off. The publicity blitz that accompanied those plot points didn’t help, and the show has continued to drop.

It’s not getting near the awards nominations it used to get, and I doubt it will ever win any more. I don’t see CBS maintaining their patience with this one, especially since its profile has significantly dropped.

  • Tom

The Good Wife is far from a flop. Yes, the demo sucks and it’s the only thing that really counts, but the episode was watched by 8.35 million viewers. That’s impressive, higher than most of the shows on the list.

I don’t even watch the show, by the way, so this is no excuse. I actually find it impressive.
