    CNN is on fire!

D.D. presented a completely ERRONEOUS analysis of our economy. He obviously knows nothing of economics other than what he reads in right wing publications. The stock market has been up bacause of record corporate profits–printing money is a misnomer thrown about by the ignorant right wingers. Inflation has been very low for the past 4 years when the right wingers claimed it would skyrocket. WRONG!!! DD has been listening to Glen Beck, maybe. Commodity prices have nothing to with “printing money.” In fact, commodity rates have come down lately. John Taylor is a right wing economist that most real economists disagree with. The only problem we face is the right wingers in the House obstructing the US economy (job creation) and causing ruin. I invite DD to state the accomplishments of the right wing during Obama’a tern and tell us how drastically cutting spending can grow the economy and create jobs. Come backe to us, DD……

  • Cathy

Usa8888, if you would even show an economist supporting your options, maybe someone would read you posts.

  • Cathy

    CNN is on fire.

  • Mikey O

@USA8888. The feds are making it the only game in town to play with rates so low, no return on bonds or CD’s. Corporations have profit but not as much as last year numbers in most cases. Look what happen to the market in the morning when rumors started the Feds may stop QE policy. Bubble is getting bigger when thew Feds stop buying pulled the punch bowl away watch out.

  • usa8888

The invitation still stands: any right winger who can show us how drastically cutting spending in a bad recession or depression will grow the economy and create jobs, I will give you a free pas to Ft. Knox’s gold supply. DD and any other right winger is invitated to participate. Also, please state the right wing GOP’s job growth plan succinctly. Feel free to call lian Ryan or Robme for assistance…

  • usa8888

Mickey–if you know anything about economics, you would know that interest rates need to be reduced during a recession or depression to encourage investment spending and raised when the economy gets humming to discourage inflation. There is a balance to be struck. Obviously, when rates are down, bank C.D rates, etc., are down. There is NO bubble. There are many factors affecting the stock market, not the least of which is the possibility of sequestration.

  • Coffee Steve

    @d.d.
Higher because of money printing. In other words, these are new asset bubbles forming.”

Yep, and the balloon is expanding and about to pop. How much fake money can be thrown into the economy Uncle Sam realizes the corporations simply will not use their own money and risk it? And when Uncle Sam does figure it out and the market knows it too?

  • FemEagle

Tsk. Poor ol’ usa8888 just can’t deal with the fact that Fox News kicks MSNBC’s ass every damn night. Oh, and every other cable news program’s as well. So he posts pro-Obama propaganda here to make himself feel better. Sad.

Even sadder is TZCA’s take: “It’s official: MSNBC numbers down on Friday because only Foxtards stay home on Friday’s to watch cable news and MSNBC numbers are up on Monday because only Foxtards care about President’s day enough to do things other than sit at home watching cable news. Foxtard viewers are going the way of the dinosaurs and soon they’ll be extinct.”

Yeah, except of those pesky high ratings numbers, dude. There are plenty of Fox viewers. It’s MSNBC’s libtards that are going extinct. Not only are they vanishing on Fridays, they’re absent all the rest of the week. But you keep fantasizing; you must be ingesting some pretty powerful happy pills.

VOICELESS: NBC To Finish Fifth In Sweeps For First Time; Network Behind UNIVISION…
    (Deadline)

An already bad month is getting worse for NBC. For the first time in sweeps history, the network is projected to finish fifth in the key adults 18-49 demographic. That’s crushing blow for NBC, which went from flying high in November with a sweep win to its shows cratering and ratings plunging. From the beginning of the February sweep on January 31 through February 19, NBC has averaged a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49.

That’s below the 1.5 that Univision has been averaging so far over the 20 night of the sweep period. In fact, Univision has bested NBC every singe night of the sweep so far among adults 18-49 and is poised to overtake NBC for its first fourth-place sweep finish in the demo. While this isn’t the first time Univision has topped one of the Big Three for a month (it ranked higher than CBS in July 2010 and 2012)

Still cringingly envious of Romney’s honestly-earned success, I see. Pitiful.

Here’s the scoop, troglodyte: Cutting spending means a smaller deficit, i.e. less money spent as opposed to the money coming in. Plus, it’s not the government’s business to “grow the economy” or “create jobs”. It’s the private sector’s. The fewer dollars in circulation, the more valuable the dollars that remain. Getting government spending under control, forcing it to follow a budget just like the rest of us, is sound economic policy. Nanny-state governments eventually go broke, as per Italy and Great Britain, to name just a couple. Raising taxes without cutting spending means the economy is out of control and nearing a death spiral. If our government goes bankrupt, our dollars are toilet paper. Get it now?

  • greece2

usa8888 – FOX did report that Obama has high approval ratings. Ignorance is bliss….. Get a life! Pay attention to the deficit now and for years to come and hope that your kids will love you when you leave them and the next generation trillion dollars in debt……….

  • Sicilian Papa

Is anyone watching MSNBC? The numbers continue to tank! Only Maddow posted numbers above 200k in key demo. I love watching them sink. Call Phil Donuhue, there must be slot open soon!

  • usa8888

FemEagles–as noted fox’s ratings are the lowest in 12 years and MSNBC continues to win most times in the demo prime time. But the important thing is all latest polls show Obama with record public favorability over the GOP and the public favors all of Obama’s policies….

  • Cathy

    Obama’s job approval.. quinnipiac poll

    Tot Rep Dem Ind

    Approve 46% 7% 87% 40%
    Disapprove 45 87 7 47
    DK/NA 9 6 6 13

And we will use Real Clear
    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_obama_job_approval-1044.html

Only one poll has Obama at a high since 2009.

  • usa8888

FemEagle–says it’s not the government’s job to create jobs in a recession and grow the economy…Please advertise this nationwide, FemEagle–and I guarantee you the GOP will lose election henceforth.

  • usa8888

Fem Eagle–have you finished high school and had ANY economics courses or do you just watch Fox News????

  • joe88

hahaha usa8888 you and mark never cease to amaze us. fox still the highest rating cable news network……………….. FOR YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and guess what, you just lost today. ooooooooo FEEL THAT BURN!!!!!

  • usa8888

Everyone please note FemEagles statement: it’s not the government’s business to “grow the economy” or “create jobs”. It’s the private sector’s.
if the GOP runs on this, it will NEVER win another election. such an absurd statement deserves to be run in all GOP TV ads. I hope the Koch Bros and Adelson will fund ads for this. FemEagle is caught in a time warp somewhere in the 1880′s….
