As for the white stuff I haven’t done…ah…I mean seen so much since the 1970′s.
I’m sure Chelsea Clinton has Betty on speed dial to discuss her maternity plans.
The arrogance of the ignorant GOP, love to focus on what people do with their private parts.
Glad Rachel Maddow’s documentary got under some right wingers skin. Haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, but I have heard and read “overwhelming” good reviews.
Oh Lordy!! Lol! I was too young, but I heard that today’s variety is garbage compared to back then
To give credit where credit is due, John McCain HAS been holding town meetings with his constituents, and he’s much the worse for wear for it. There has been video on the intertoobz and on TV showing the people in attendance berating him for not doing enough to get rid of “illegal aliens”. Senator Straight Talk even called one of his constituents a jerk. I’m inclined to agree.
@SP, Speaking of moving…
Spent all day packing, later I have dinner and the theater (what was I thinking) sore & tired all to be trapped in a seat for two hours….. I will probably fall asleep. It been a crazy, sad, and exhausting day. But feels good to sit down, catch up on emails harass you good ppl.
It looks like all shows are down from this time last year:
Feb 21, 2012 vs Feb 21, 2013 (25-54 demo numbers)
Hannity: 523 vs 355 = -32% decrease
Greta V: 431 vs 308 = -29% decrease
OReilly: 606 vs 438 = -28% decrease
Ed Show: 289 vs 243 = -16% decrease
Lawrence 267 vs 223 = -16% decrease
Maddow: 273 vs 270 = -01% (only one that has pretty much kept on par)
I keep telling you guys…cable news is dying out for the day to day stuff. Unless there’s breaking news or an election, I’m afraid Broadcast news and the internet news is where the majority of Americans get their news from.
Ask yourselves…where do you get most of your news from on a daily basis?

I think you actually stated the reason for the falloff in viewership. The run-up to the Presidential election last year could be the reason for the inflated numbers. Since there is no Presidential election this year we’ll probably have to wait until 2016 to see if the numbers reinflate.
@MikeW “The run-up to the Presidential election last year could be the reason for the inflated numbers.”
The numbers were even higher in Feb 2011 than Feb 2012.
Now on HLN: ‘Jane Velez-Mitchell’ covering the Jodi Arias trial. The programming hasn’t changed.
i feel like i should be gloating………….. buts its just a normal day!!!!!!!!!!!! FOX KICKS ASS EVERYWHERE………… AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mark2
Interesting. Maybe more people are watching the Golf channel like me.
Now on HLN: ‘Nancy Grace’: the Jodi Arias trial.

I think you will see stuff pickup for the midterms in 2014. Primary voting makes good material for Fox and MSNBC

Local trials shouldn’t be “national” news. If CNN wonders what lost them respect of the public look to the 90s when it was nonstop OJ, Bobbit and Tony Harding.
Unfortunately, that’s what ‘the market’ was most interested in seeing, so that’s what received the greatest proportion of coverage. It seems to me like an inevitable consequence of non-subscription based television being so ad-driven; they’ve abandoned any ethical obligations as the Fourth Estate. Cable news channels (like most channels) exist first to sell advertising, and second to inform.
Oh, this was a dumb thing for me to say, since cable television obviously is partially subscription-based. CNN, in particular, gets almost half of it’s revenue from license fees IIRC. MY BADS
Sick of your silly statements Matthew
Are you of the opinion, then, that the need to sell ad space is inconsequential in what the news media chooses to cover, and the tone with which they present their shows?
Matthew, sorry, I was kidding with you. You are not prone to silly statements, I was being ‘ironical’ as GWB would say….
Now on HLN: ‘Dr. Drew on Call’: the Jodi Arias Trial.
