@Ratboy
This better make you smile, and yes it DID happen
by the way here is the update: My truck got to Wisc late yesterday afternoon and it is full to the brim with furniture, clothes, dishes, bedding, food, and you name it!! My neice said they opened the back and just started sobbing! I told the driver to stay there until Saturday as that is when they can get into their free house. One more suprise for them, well actually 2 suprises. The driver handed them an envelope that he was given in Illinois and when they opened it it was full of gift cards and Visa gift card worth over $3000!!!! then the second suprise that even blew me away. The driver asked my neice how to spell her name, she thought it was for the paper work. He went back to the truck and then came back and handed her a check for $1000!! He said “there is no way i am keeping all the money your uncle is paying me when you need it more than me!”
I am crying (again) just typing this!
@ Coffee Steve
If the gun stores and shows had the right guns business would be great.
It’s the reverse of “built it and they will come.”
Ammo also in short supply. Most shelves are bare.
All
Man it’s cold here to day arond 30 degress or so and no snow.
All
Suppose to be in the low 70s Sunday.
Sunny and no snow.

Young man, if I was still reporting, I’d have that story on in a heartbeat. If the media reported half of these kind that happen everyday then people would laugh at Washington, and there in lies the fact, Washington and the media don’t want to report this stuff.
God bless each of them. Funny how the small number of bad, outshines the huge amount of good huh?

serves you right for being mean to us guys with all the snow!
The government is sometimes like a magician. When everyone was looking at the fiscal cliff and the discussion about saving the middle class income tax cut there was very little mention of the SS tax going back to its original rate.
People are now seeing this tax increase and a smaller paycheck. This has helped put a damper on consumer spending and confidence.

BITE US ALL!!!
@Coffee Steve Oh yes and the majority of the people beleive it. I hope that changes if not we are doomed.

Pravda does that too in Russia
Ibsles. You should be up here on the caprock—cold and windy–feels like there is nothing between us and Canada. Ready to go home where it is a little warmer.

Some local news outlets approched my neice and said they wanted to do stories. She said “I have watched your crap and there is no way in hell that it is going to happen!”
@ Coffee Steve
What do you hear about this?
Super PAC: Progressive/tea party alliance aiming to topple McConnell
Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is becoming increasingly concerned about his 2014 re-election chances in Kentucky, according to a progressive Super PAC that says it is partnering with unnamed Tea Party groups to paint McConnell as a corrupt insider and knock him out of his longtime Senate seat in a Republican primary.
A recent McConnell campaign fundraising email accused liberals of “attempting to infiltrate conservative” groups in Kentucky. Another McConnell campaign email accused the liberal organization MoveOn.org of supporting a “phony tea party” in an attempt to beat the senior senator. Though MoveOn disputed the McConnell campaign’s charges, the progressive super PAC Progress Kentucky is openly waging the kind of attack that McConnell seems worried about.

Ratboy. That is a touching story and so glad that kindness and generosity is being showed on your family.
Showered not showed–sorry

Super PAC: Progressive/tea party alliance aiming to topple McConnell
Its all hype from the left media, Mitch has an approval of over 60%. The local Louisville chapter while not working all out for Mitch isn’t exactly going against him either.
Bottom Line, and even though I’m for him being replaced due to his many years there, he is as hard working and genuine as there has ever been in Kentucky.
Doesn’t matter if you GOP or Dem, if you contact his office with a problem the man works his butt off for any Kentuckian that contacts him.
He will win in a landslide (again)
That would be great if the TEA Party and progressives would go after the corrupt in both parties. Somehow the kings an queens on Capitol Hill need to be term limited.
