    And next week’s SVU looks so STUPID on my part, and it’s played out! Chris Brown and Rihanna, I mean really?!?! SVU has gotten to a desperate stage under Mr. Warren Leight, SVU has ripped headlines in some kind of way every month, and I’m growing tired it. Warren and his “crew” have no creativity, unlike the writers from Chicago Fire who leave me in ribbons every week — last night I had the tissues at the ready.

    If Dick Wolf doesn’t fire this guy or he leaves at the end of the season, SVU won’t jump back to 2.0 in the 18-49 demo. SVU should be at the edge of “toss up” or “likely cancellation”. Chicago Fire “certain renewal”, unless they fall down like SVU (which is dragging CF down hard).

    @SJ,

    Suburgatory’s retention may be horrible, but it’s still ABC’s third-highest rated comedy (out of 7 they currently have on the schedule). It’s not going anywhere.

    I definitely think Suburgatory will be renewed, but I have serious doubts that it will air behind Modern Family next week.

    I still think NBC should cancel all comedies but Parks (and maybe Community) and start from scratch.

    Didn’t they try that with all the new comedies this year?

    @Holly

    Do you mean next season, not next week?

  • DeanW

    Wow there is only 40,000 viewers between Criminal Minds and CSI !

  • Holly

    Yes, next season… oops..

    @Tyler
    Question — what’s the worst retention out of Modern Family? Is it Suburgatory?

    The retention for Suburgatory out of Modern Family this season is the same 55% that Happy Endings had last season.

    That might be the worst, but if so, it’s not by much (B- in 23 was at 58%).

    yay The Middle and MF!

    SJ True, before the worst thing about the comments are just Chuck/Fringe uber-fan and haters arguing but now I dunno.I miss the old days of TBTN

  • Tyler

    @Ultima

    I meant for any telecast.

    @Holly

    There’s no chance that Suburgatory is after Modern Family next season.

    Glad to see the 1.9 last week for CSI was a fluke. 2.3 isn’t that great either, but it’s solid enough for 10pm CBS.

    Sucks for Criminal Minds but the episode was awful so I don’t feel so bad.

    The truth is, CHICAGO FLOP is just not a success story. I don’t care if this is NBC. It isn’t THE CW and it isn’t UNIVISON (which is probably more successful).

    A 1.9 demo is nothing to be happy about, come on now. NBC has something with REVOLUTION if it returns to similar numbers as the fall. It doesn’t have anything with FLOP FIRE.

  • KT

    @PurpleDrezi I think you are correct about CM. It’s definitely starting to show its age.

    Apartment 23 had an episode that lost more than half of MF’s audience. I think if it was still airing there, the retention would have gotten worse.

    I’m definitely interested in seeing how Suburgatory does when it moves back to 8:30. I honestly won’t miss it if it is cancelled.

  • forg

    Suburgatory will definitely not be on after MF next season it will already slide to 8:30 later this season. I’m really surprised it didn’t fare better after MF. I thought it would have been a good pairing. Oh well

    I prefer Sub over The Middle

    @Micha
    Every week since the Mike Tyson episode of SVU aired the series has been adjusted down to 1.5 or 1.6.

    I don’t think you understand what causes adjustments in ratings; but, as long as we’re talking about things that have nothing to do with each other, How I Met Your Mother was up this week after having Mike Tyson on last week.

  • Zach

    Yay, Modern Family hit 4 once again!

    Suburgatory needs to get back up.

  • Skylar James

    Still, for me The B was the funniest ABC comedy by far

  • Brittney

    ABC shouldn’t have moved Suburgatory in the first place, it’ll be back next year either way.

  • 1313 SVU Lane

    Yea micha because the Neil Baer wishes were so high quality, these last 2 seasons were two of the best seasons that SVU have offered. No more staying in the ME’s office for 3 days, no more Stabler family drama that really wasn’t (especially spoiled little Kimberly) and especially no more Olivia/Stabler shippers. (although I was once a person that believed that Olivia and Stabler had a relationship and that’s really caused all his drama at home.

    I hope Criminal Minds rebounds next week with their next episode… =)
