I guess the loons wont be talking ratings tonight!!!!
THAT’S GOTTA HURT!!!
NBC Falls To Fifth Place — Behind Univision — During February Sweeps
Looks like HLN’s target demographic (vultures of human misery) has propelled them into second. Good work!
Update: All shows decline even further.
Feb 21, 2012 vs Feb 22, 2013 (25-54 demo numbers)

Greta V: 431 vs 270 = -37% decrease
OReilly: 606 vs 401 = -34% decrease

I keep telling you guys…cable news is dying out for the day to day stuff. Unless there’s breaking news or an election, I’m afraid Broadcast news and the internet news is where the majority of Americans get their news from.
Again, ask yourselves…where do you get most of your news from on a daily basis?
The only news related shows that I watch on a day to day basis are NBC Nightly News w/Brian Williams, Rachel Maddow, and Jon Stewart. The majority of the news I get comes from the internet: CNN, ABC, Huffington Post, MSNBC, etc. When it comes to the radio, I, like Bill O’Reilly, listen to CBS radio.
^These are some of the worst demo numbers I’ve ever seen for Cable News. You know things are bad when Shep finishes in 2nd place.
Last year(at this time) had the Republican primary to boost ratings for both MSNBC and Fox
Mark2 is enjoying the new pot law in Colorado, can you tell??
Great for HLN. They should stick to showing high progile court cases and have insession on HLN all the time and move it from True TV.
It’s nice to see Hannity below 300k in the demo.
Looks like folk are finally wising up to what hogwash his Republican propaganda is.
Never was a Fiscal Cliff until 0bama came along….
now, every other week, Fiscal Schtick…boring, tiresome.
Yawn.
HLN beat Fox at 5pm.. wow.. Jodi Arias trial is finally doing wonders for HLN.. I love the prosecutor.. I hope he tears her a new one..
Right wingers–still haven’t heard from any of you on right wing accomplishments and how drastically cutting spending grows the economy and creates jobs…..
I wonder who the American greed show was about. That got a lot of views.
Matthew Compared to a year ago, US oil output increased by 22.3% last week, marking the sixth straight week of annual increases in domestic oil production above 20%. In just the last 18 months, US oil output has increased by1.6 million bpd, from 5.5 million bpd in August 2011 to more than 7.1 million bpd last week.
Now, the question is due to EPA restrictions how much more does it cost to pump that oil compared to last year or 2008? And how much more does it cost to refine that oil due to EPA restrictions today, then it cost in 2008?
@Mark “Last year(at this time) had the Republican primary to boost ratings for both MSNBC and Fox”
Not so…as I explained yesterday the numbers were even higher in Feb 2011 which was a non-election year. The numbers continue to drop every year.
Feb 2011 /Feb 2012 /Feb 2013 (Primetime Demo numbers)
Fox = 550 / 520 / 323
MSNBC = 327 / 280 / 199
The first thing that hits you when you peruse the ratings numbers is: Fox’ ratings continue to get disproportionately older and older. Probably every retirement home in the country has Fox on continuously….
Betty, ibsles, Rat, D.D.–haven’t heard from you yet on GOP accomplishments and how spending cuts grow the economy and create jobs….I am waiting….
@Ratboy “NBC Falls To Fifth Place — Behind Univision — During February Sweeps”
That’s what happens when you let Comcast take over.
Got’em!!!
Question for anyone that uses tax software.
Whose did you use and why?
I’ve been using turbotax for years and I’m sick of all the surprise charges.
@Mark2
Those numbers for Feb 2013 (323 for Fox and 199 for MSNBC) don’t seem representative of previous months.
For instance Fox had 267 in Jan 2013, and MSNBC had 235.
So while both networks are down, Fox has experienced a steeper decline than what you’ve shown.
So now that Rush “The Big Fat Idiot” Limbaugh is officially ashamed of America, is he finally going to make good on his promise to move to Costa Rica?
I wonder if some of the dittoheads are going to start calling him unpatriotic or a traitor.
