    Loved Person of Interest. I stopped watching for a while, but Sarah Shahi, definitely, drew me in. The episode kept my interest from beginning to the end. The Big Bang Theory is another one of my favorite. To bad Community was moved to Thursday. I used to watch both Community and Big Bang Theory, but when they were moved to the same time slot, so I had to choose one.

    @SJ: “Heigl is really the only main cast member to ever get an Emmy?! *headdesk* ”

    Have you ever seen Grey’s? She was fantastic. I still miss her on that show. Also, her movies don’t do justice to her talent.

    POI’s ‘Relevance’ was phenomenal!!! Loved the change in tone! I usually don’t get too attached to female spies, but last night was the first time (okay, maybe the second time after Angelina Jolie) that I was totally dumbstruck! I fell hard for Samantha! Oh, I so hope she’s either a regular or gets a spin-off! The episode was the second best after ‘Many Happy Returns’ for me. How much more awesome can this show get! POI is one of the most intelligent shows out there!

    Glad TVD bounced back. Liked the episode. Nina was great.

    Some people have unhealthy obsessions with tv shows and their ratings. If the show has good enough ratings to get renewed then who cares what other show has better ratings. I must say your mental disorders do amuse me!

  • Heather

    I tried to watch BATB several times. Its not bad and I like the concept but for some reason it just doesn’t hold my interest.

    @Melissa

    “You two claim that I attack commenters, but you two are literally mocking me and Serial Rocker is making up some BS imagination of my basement. Hypocrisy at its finest.”

    Less hypocrisy and more a taste of your own medicine.

    What we were saying was clearly joking around (or at least for your sake I hope so…) and anyone reading it could see we were just fooling around with you concerning your supposed Grey’s obsession. What you said earlier concerning another poster’s use of English was far more personal and even when it was pointed out to you that the person in question was probably a little shaky with the language, you continued to berate them for not being good enough. Now, I can’t speak for you but if I went to a site where the common language was anything other than English, I’d be making a few mistakes here and there. I’m relatively fluent in Spanish but I guarantee you I’d trip up on the grammar now and again.

    So if our joking around hurt your feelings then I apologise but maybe it’ll make you think twice before you attack someone unfairly again.

    First of all, rob60990, you are an idiot!!!! The show is called Hawaii Five-0 and it is NOT A flop. In fact it is far superior than that stupid Elementary!!! Besides, Elementary is no competition to Hawaii Five O so you don’t need to bash it!!!!!

  • Melissa

    @Serial Rocker

    You’re right, I shouldn’t have belittled Petar Ivanov for his English. Apologies for that.

  • Serial Rocker

    @Melissa

    Fair enough. All good then.

  • The End

    @Serial Rocker

    Very well said about Melissa and I agree. Too many fanboys/girls attacking people with differing opinions to their own on general discussion topics like this, she isn’t unique in her obsessive behavior in regards to Greys, granted there’s equally a good number of people also posting inane comments no one really cares about.

    I don’t agree with her attacking Petar Ivanov’s english, personally I think the guy makes a great deal of sense with some of his opinions on here.

  • Serial Rocker

    @The End

    Thanks for that. Television show ratings wars are what you expect around here on a daily basis, and whilst I don’t like the way certain people see the need to viciously attack fans of one show to defend another, I’m generally okay with a little good hearted fandom sparring. As long as it’s kept civil. Attacking Petar’s education seemed a little off to me, but Melissa has apologised for that so all good, as I said.

  • Shaz

    Please! Petar is at least obsessive (and perhaps even more) about POI as Melissa is with Grey’s. At least Melissa obsessively provides facts to back up her opinion while most of Petar’s posts are opinion with a few facts sprinkled in from time to time.

    I watch both POI and Grey’s, but I like POI better and watch it live and catch up with Grey’s on the weekend.

    “I can’t think of any recent seasons when networks cancelled all their new shows, but I can think of a few where they cancelled everything but one.

    “In 2008-09, NBC cancelled everything except Parks and Recreation.

    “In 2007-08, CBS cancelled everything except The Big Bang Theory.

    “In 2006-07, Fox cancelled everything except Til Death.”

    Interesting list. I’m pretty sure there are other seasons in which a network introduced 5 or more new shows, only to have one or none survive.

    You missed ‘Flashpoint’, the CBS summer ’08 show. It survived for the 2008-09 season. Regardless, I’ll bet good horse money that a lot of CBS heads rolled during the first 6 months of ’08. I don’t think they’ve had a failure rate that dismal since.

    With NBC in total limbo, to the point of being beaten out by Univisión in the 18-49 demo, with CW–of all networks–smelling blood, and having to rely on The Voice, the NFL and the Olympics to carry them, I wonder how much longer it will be before they realize they have to clean house, lest they end up calling off TWO or even THREE shows, like ‘Next Caller’ (with Dane Cook), before putting them on the air.

    I must say that, if the CW returns to hard sci-fi/fantasy, like they did as the WB in the years 1997-2005, and they have a show that ranks up there with ‘Earth: Final Conflict’ and ‘Andromeda’, or even ‘Xena’, ‘Hercules’ and ‘Smallville’, NBC is toast.

  • CookyMonzta

    And that leads me to believe that NBC ought to put more energy into shows like ‘Revolution’. Dystopia seems to work (case in point: ‘The Walking Dead’). Better yet, maybe they ought to revive ‘Heroes’ or create a spinoff.

    “@CookyMonzta –

    “‘If I must say so (to settle the argument, fat chance though it may be), to compare POI to GA would require POI to be on TV for 6 seasons, because it was at that point when GA started to lose its 18-49 audience.’

    “Whoa, hold up there Cooky. Are you trying to introduce LOGIC onto this site? I’m sorry but that’s just not allowed.”

    That is why I’m running out of popcorn–er, uh, COOKIES–watching this flame war go nuclear. :-/

  • Ellen

    I am really enjoying reading Melissa’s butthurt BS!

  • POIFanatic

    I’m a huge POI fan (as indicated by my username) and I like Grey’s as well, but are you people seriously trying to say Petar is better than Melissa? Atleast Melissa doesn’t spout random bs. She apologized for attacking his grammar and English language, but where’s Petar’s apology to her and another user? He was the one who started with that idiocy.

  • askmelast79

    @POIFanatic “She apologized for attacking his grammar and English language, but where’s Petar’s apology to her and another user?”

    I think what she did was far worse than him. Attacking someone’s lack of grammar just because English is his or her second language is very wrong. It is mean spirited, spiteful, and bitter, not to mention just plain childish. And I don’t think that Petar should apologize for anything. He did not attack her personally. He might have said some things about grays that was a bit out there, but I don’t recall him using personal insults like a searing knife. THAT is the difference.

  • POIFanatic

    “He might have said some things about grays that was a bit out there, but I don’t recall him using personal insults like a searing knife.”

    So, as you don’t ‘recall’, it must be a fact that Petar wasn’t the instigator, right? Let me rectify that for you. Do go back to that comment where he questioned their education before Melissa or the other guy made any kind of personal comment on Petar.

  • askmelast79

    I stand by my post POIFanatic. She was much, much worse than anything that Petar did, and I recall Melissa doing that before he did, IF he did post something to that effect. This thing that she has done to Petar goes back weeks ago.

  • Martha

    I’m grateful that POI is also loved by fans oversea! Best show on earth.
