Yay, Grey’s deserved to go up for such a great episode last night!

  • Vanquished

Jeez, what happened to NBC, they get terrible Thursday ratings now-a-days…

  • Jacob

NBC can’t get anything above 1.0 thesedays. They have to stop with the cheesy comedies and boring dramas.

  • Melissa

NBC will renew Go On and use it’s earlier higher ratings as an excuse for it’s renewal despite it’s low 1?s now

Yes NBC will probably renew it, but not because of its early season ratings. It’s because Go On will climb back up once The Voice returns.

I don’t know where I read this report, but last year, it was said that Secret Circle wasn’t bankable overseas. BATB could possibly be a hit overseas, reports aren’t given till May.

Nice that Scandal didn’t adjust down eventhough there was a GA overrun. I hope ABC does a good job promoting it during it do it can continue to return with big numbers maybe even set a new series high

  • Bookworm

    No adjustments for Scandal!! Great!

Grey was an awesome episode so I honestly do believe it deserved that demo and possibly higher ones to come! Glad to see Scandal is still steady. A 2.7 is a great rating for this show! I might not like Elementary much but congrats on the rating! You will still come second to Scandal (as you have been doing for damn near 6 weeks now!). But either way, congrats to the show! Great numbers all around for most networks this Thursday!

When will we get February sweeps numbers? Scandal averaged a 2.7 since the Winter Finale and the same number during February sweeps! Renewal here we come!

So your saying that ‘no network’ takes on earlier ratings when disccussing a renewal. So Go On’s early 2.5-3.0 ratings are completely useless now?

  • Petar Ivanov

rob60990 and Melissa haters again together almost the same time how pathetic.

Wow…NBC seriously sucks! lol Couldn’t happen to a nicer network!

ABC has a special Scandal promo airing during the Oscars; heard about it on twitter and Kerry said that they were filming it a few weeks back. We also have a TV Guide shoot that they just finished a week ago, it features Kerry and Tony so I’m sure it will be great!

ABC seems to be investing more and more into Scandal, I think it will continue that promotion since it is clearly gaining and holding onto the new viewers! Plus Social Media is so big for this show.

So your saying that ‘no network’ takes on earlier ratings when disccussing a renewal. So Go On’s early 2.5-3.0 ratings are completely useless now?

That is correct. Why don’t you understand that networks are trying to renew shows that will do good next year, not ones that did good in the beginning of the season and flopped mid-year. Go On‘s early 2.5-3.0 ratings were useful when it was hitting those numbers and NBC was getting advertising dollars for those numbers, but now that it’s significantly below that level, yes those numbers are irrelevant. NBC is not going to renew a show that will pull low 1’s next year, just because it used to pull big numbers early on.

I think we’re all missing the REAL news of the night………………

Look at how well SVU did with the repeat! Maybe NBC should just have a SVU marathon on thursdays… LOL.

  • Petar Ivanov

@So Grey’s Anatomy is flat vs. the year ago telecast and Person of Interest is down 7%. What was Petar Ivanov saying about Person of Interest being the only drama up year-to-year?

bad math haters. bad math. Shame for your school teachers.

@Ron, I think HoD is safe, but cw picked up 8 pilots, is going in a new direction and you never what’ll happen and it’s rumored Pedowitz has been told to clean house .I think BataB and 90210 are the only true bubble shows now that could go either way.I wouldn’t be suprised, well too suprised, if HoD was the only one left standing and the rest of Mon-Tues night cancelled.I say 90210 is a bubble show cause on one hand it’s ratings are terrible,CW wants to go in a different direction. On the other hand, it’s cheap to produce ,all other shows beside VD,Arrow,SPN ,HoD aren’t doing well, a final season hasn’t been announced yet like they do for vetran shows plus the finales been written and films in a couple weeks and the fact Pedowitz Believes in proper sedoffs/final seasons. I personally think BaTB & CD have to get 0.7 s from now on to get renewed which isntvlikley given DST and usual spring ratings decline are coming soon.

  • PurpleDrazi

Glad to see Elementary adjust up.

Once again both BATB and TCD on the ropes. Neither show seems capable of stepping up and delivering the knock out ratings punch.

  • Scandalfan

    Yaye for Scandal and Grey.

  • Melissa

    @Petar Ivanov

rob60990 and Melissa haters again together almost the same time how pathetic.

That’s because someone just posted the year-ago comparisons, and we obviously both remembered your recent gloating about Person of Interest being the only drama up year-to-year, when in reality it’s down vs. the year-ago telecast despite a lead-in one full point higher.

  • Melissa

    @Petar Ivanov

bad math haters. bad math. Shame for your school teachers.

Lol, yeah, stating the fact that Person of Interest is down 7% vs. the year-ago telecast is “bad math”. You keep telling yourself that.

  • sarah

Why is BatB always being adjusted down for some unknown reason, but whenever it is preempted in my are it is never adjusted up? Why would its half hour viewing membership decrease when all the other shows are on one hour time slots? If it looks, feels, and stinks like a fish, it probably is.
