    “Nice to see Grey’s steady year to year while the so called fastest growing show Person of Interest is down even with a much better lead-in this year.”

    Aww, and you’d been doing so well up until now, managing to support the show you like without feeling the need to insult a show you don’t. Then you go and slip right back into being an insipid bitchy ponce. Old habits die hard, huh?

    There’s no doubt that Grey’s has had higher ratings and viewing figures in its earlier years than Person of Interest does now, but the day of ratings having any actual correlation with the quality of the show has yet to arrive.

    “I understand that, but he shouldn’t be calling our educations into question when he can’t even speak English properly.”

    Umm… really?

    SVU rerun was the most watched show on NBC.

    Community beat both Parks and Flops episodes

    Grey’s went from a 2.8 to a 3.1. Not bad.

    Bueaty and the Flop (better than Floppity and the Beast)

    Well if you want to talk about quality, we can compare prestigious awards. Grey’s Anatomy has been nominated for 25 Primetime Emmy Awards and 10 Golden Globe Awards, among dozens of other awards. Person of Interest has not been nominated for nor won any award except for a People’s Choice. I think that speaks for itself.

    Lets get radical with NBC. There needs to be a re-branding.
    First of all dump the Execs who are deciding shows and programming.
    Second realize that “Law&Order” is no offering diminishing returns, prepare to replace it/them.

    Rule1: No doctor/no lawyer/no cop shows. – Get creative
    Rule2: Stop meddling with Show-Runners and Directors creative decisions – you suck at it.
    Rule3: Get some good Canadian and British comedies licensed and and get rid of those aging comedies you have.
    Rule4: Reload that British show “Hustle” as a primetime show, use the original Hustle director and the original star.

    “I think that speaks for itself.”

    I think that actually speaks for the tastes of those making the nominations, wouldn’t you say?

    I am not a fan of Petar, but this is the second time that you have blasted him for his grammar when English is not his first language. Both times when blasting him you made your own grammar mistakes. It’s kind of embarrassing that you keep doing that.

    BATB is just a terrible show. And it’s now regularly doing worse by at least 2/10ths than Secret Circle did last year in that slot. If TSC and Ringer deserved to go than BATB should’ve been cancelled weeks ago. What a joke of a season this is for CW, with the exception of Arrow (which is starting to slip too).

    @Justin121

    Community did not beat Parks & *Recreation* in the ratings, only in total viewers, which don’t matter! 1.1 vs. 1.4 is not winning!

    @Bee

    Season to season new shows can’t be compared as ratings are falling season to season so one season a 0.5 may be very bad for The CW but now it is okay

    SCANDAL STAYING STEADY. :) Does anybody know when it returns?

  • Joseph

    I really dislike how many users are comparing revenge numbers to scandal- both are in completely different cases- if revenge was at 10 on Wednesday night it may be acceptable but comparing it to 9 on a Sunday isn’t as revenge has had to face off against many different events and had massive competition which scandal doesn’t have.

  • Mark3

    Just keep zero hour for christs sake. Any show abc puts there isnt gonna do tgat great anyway.

  • Seth

    I am still amazed at Scandal even in it’s second season, because Network TV doesn’t like to do serialized shows, they are afraid that viewers wouldn’t want to follow a serial and if they miss one or a couple of episodes that would cause the viewer to lose interest and drift away.
    So, I am surprised that ABC allowed a serial like Scandal, and even more surprised how much loyalty such a freshman show has generated among its viewers.

    Scandal is a well written and well acted show with a complexity of storylines that most shows try to avoid. Not to mention how risque it can be.
    At any given time there can be three or four storylines running concurrently.
    1. There is the Fitz Olivia story
    2. There is the episodic story of the week.
    3. There is the Olivia and her team problems
    4. There is the White House problems
    5. There is the David and Abby
    6. There is Quinn and the election cheaters drama
    All running concurrently – amazing writers.

    I have no understanding as to why a show is adjusted up or down. I do wonder why no cable shows are adjusted either way.

  • SJ

    @Joseph

    I dislike that too. I think we owe that to a certain user whose name I’ve vowed not to use because I don’t want to give him more ammo. It makes more sense to compare Scandal to Castle and Nashville, as they’re all 10pm shows.

    Also, to whomever said that Zero Hour flatlining somehow “saves” Castle, Revenge and Nashville – that’s laughable. The first two were never in any kind of danger, while Nashville, which in any other season would be a solid bubble show with its somewhat anemic ratings, is now close enough to ABC’s scripted average to at least have a 75% possibility at a renewal.

    Beauty and the Beast is done. If it can’t even pull a 0.7-0.8 following the network’s #1 show, there really is no reason to keep it around, is there?

  • Melissa

    Little grammar errors are not the same thing as incomprehensible sentences.

    @THE OLD MAN

    You must be forgetting the Screen Actors Guilds, ALMAS, Critics Choice, Directors Guild, GLAAD, Grammy, PRISM, Producers Guild, and Satellite. Also, I said nominations, not strictly wins. To even be nominated for a Primetime Emmy is a huge honor.

    Do you realize that Zero Hour is probably the biggest flop in that timeslot EVER ?? It’s not happening.
