You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

NBC’s ratings are seriously making me frustrated. Comcast is making all of the same mistakes GE did by making the network so dependent on one show (GE-Biggest Loser, Comcast-The Voice). They seriously need to cancel all the dead weight shows like Community, Whitney, and Smash. They’re not delivering in the ratings and if they keep them on the schedule, the ratings will only get worse.

  • a p garcia

ZH is a zero, but bear food!

  • Dat

POI dropped .1 and Grey’s fans are already jumping for joy. LOL at the pathetic need to beat POI.

Have fun, Grey’s fans like Melissa and I HATE CBS PROCEDURALS. I am so not going to people like you once ABC announced Grey’s final season a year or two from now.

  • forg

Scandal could adjust down to 2.6 with the half hours and Greys going up to 3.1. Anyway, still great for Scandal

Idol did fine and great ratings for TBBT as always

  • Petar Ivanov

@ haters – rob60990 and Melissa and all greays fanboys/girls

You are so pathetic. Person of DisInterest? Really with 15 000 000 viewers and 2.9 in main demo? How many other shows has more viewers? Or better demo? You are bitter and low people AS always. Last week when POI beat Greys no one POI fan was low and arrogant like you now. Nest time i will be because you deserve that.

  • ateofi

I thought Person of interest would get better ratings. Yesterday episode was brilliant – the best of the series so far!! Please give Sarah Shati her own spin off, contary to Jim Caviezel she can actually act!!
Scandal and Elementary seem to have stabilized on 2.7 and 2.3 demo respectively. I wish H50 could get such ratings, but well :(
Zero Hour is a bust and to think it replaced terrific Last resort :(

  • John A

Wow Tvd rose 3 tenths. Suck it Arrow fans lol boasting that it would be No.1 now lol. TVD beat Arrow by 4 tenths this week.

  • Petar Ivanov

@POI dropped .1 and Grey’s fans are already jumping for joy. LOL at the pathetic need to beat POI

That show how low and sad some people are. They joy that POI drop 0.1 they are not happy for their own show. Its just sad.

NBC the biggest loser from 8-11

Zero hour down but Patrick (pant-pant) D keeps GA afloat, too soon to start singing Scandalicious

CBS places second to singing comp FOX

    CW crushes ABC/NBC @ 8:00

  • aciel

maybe people wouldnt blame u so much if u said in a more hateful, i know that everyone is entitled to their. u didnt say anything wrong its just the way u say that ticks people of

It really doesn’t make sense how Parks fell that much. Its been between a 1.7 and 2.0 since it returned in Jan (except last week which I truly thought was V-day but obv not). I didn’t expect it to exceed 2.0 but figured since it was a wedding ep it would be up from last week. I figured 1.6 worst case but really thought a 1.8 or 1.9. It doesn’t make any sense to me. I know they don’t normally promo Parks or any of their Thurs night shows heavily but damn. And wow I don’t know what NBC is going to do next year.

  • rob60990

“Scandal could adjust down to 2.6 with the half hours and Greys going up to 3.1. Anyway, still great for Scandal”

    Exactly what I’m expecting. :D

  • feinn

Where are all the arrow fanboys this week?

  • Skylar James

@Peter Ivanov: as far as I’m aware, you’re the one who started the whole POI vs Grey’s battle over here, bashing Grey’s Anatomy and its fans. Its natural that people will start acting bitter around POI…

By the way guys, did Walking Dead beat BBT this week then?

  • gary m

Yes, we all understand that 18-49 demo is what advertisers look at, but viewers and the industry at large still wants to know total viewers, which is why it is what the media reports most often. Don’t forget in 10 years largest demo will be 50+, and networks are very aware of this. When media is reporting top ten shows of year, POI will be on the list, Greys will not.

  • tv_viewer

    @Skylar James

I’ve been coming to this site for over a year. I sure know how to read. You are deluded in thinking I don’t know how to read.

  • boonies

Yeah, PLEASE give Shahi her own spinoff so she can’t screw up POI again!!!! What a waste of space.

  • Justin121

So we’re not going with Flop of Interest?

Scandel is still getting renewed. Its stayed stable since December and has some of highest demos for a 10pm show. Scandel is a hot show. Shonda is rocking it. It should be getting over 15 million.

Idol is still doing well for season 12 against Big Bang. It seems it had some affect on Two and Half Men and Person of Interest. Idol still doing solid numbers. Is it me or it does it seem Idol put bad guys on to make a girl win? Its so obvious they want a girl to win. With the awful to mediocre guys I have seen, its obvious the first girl in six years will win.

Parks and Rec somehow managed to score two series lows last night: in the 18-49 demo at 8:30 and in total viewership at 9:00. :( And Community and 1600 Penn join the rest of NBC’s non-Office/Parks comedies in the 0.9-1.1 limbo.

Will Zero Hour even air all of its ordered episodes? I can’t imagine ABC putting up with 11 more weeks of miserable ratings, plus it’s sure to dip even lower once Grey’s Anatomy goes into repeats starting with next week.

Elementary is pretty much the most stable show on broadcast TV, right?
