NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Nikita just skewed older. How is that hard to grasp?
GREAT for Shark Tank, love this show!
Sad
for CSI NY, although I’m not a fan of this show, its ratings were solid with 1.4-1.6 and the last 2 episodes hitting lows of 1.2. I guess it depends on Golden Boy if NY gets renewed or not. Nikita was doing decent with .5s and apparently followed the trend losing viewers.
When the hell is Grimm coming back? NBC was soooo stupid for airing Grimm way too early and holding out all season to bring it back. Last year this show was winning timeslots or strong in competetion, and outrated a lot of weeknight NBC shows. So why would NBC wase this stable show for the season?
Hopefully if CSI: NY is canceled the Show’s Finale was more watched than CSI: Miami’s one !
I don’t care if Nikita is renewed. At this point the numbers are completely laughable. I now only want to see if it will go down to a .1
I think Grimm comes back March 8
ABC need to think younger if they want their Friday night comedies to work like TGIF did. I’m surprised they’re not developing the Boy Meets World reboot for ABC instead of Disney Channel.
Yup, I saw a promo for Grimm returning on March 8th right after Fashion Star. So much for continuity. They would’ve been better off sticking with Dateline & Rock Center on Fri & moving Grimm to Tues paired with Hannibal. Smash could’ve then gone to Thur to die quietly.
I agree with many of you regarding Malibu Country. They really do need to fire the writers effective immediately. I really want to support this style of comedy, the multi-cam traditional family sitcom that many of us grew up on. But this show is painful to watch. Lily is doing all she can to make it work but the material is just so corny. Also it does need more of an older mature male presence.
I would love to see how Last Man Standing would perform airing after Shark Tank. It has the possiblity of getting high 1′s. 1.7-2.0 with close to 8 million viewers would be great. I believe LMS has the potential to garner that.
Oh look, it’s Mikey/Bondoel, aka Nikitard Prime.
Mikey
Yeah it’s still pretty bad. Now if it was beating shows or tying shows that actually weren’t Dead Men Walking, it would be better. But yes it’s still laughable, doesn’t mean that 90210 and Cult aren’t also laughable.
@R, I really would like ABC to acquire the Boy Meets World spinoff. It belongs on ABC. Girl Meets World paired up with Last Man Standing would be great and provide a strong foundation that will help nuture the growth of TGIF. I heard that Jonathan Taylor Thomas will be guest starrring on LMS. ABC really needs to hype that episode. Everybody in their late 20′s and up will be interested in seeing his return to primetime network TV. Maybe he’ll play a love interest to the older daughter.
Anyways, I’ll love to see this lineup for next year
8pm Last Man Standing
8:30 Girl Meets World
9pm The Neighbors
9:30 Super Fun Night
10pm Castle
And as utterly horrible as 90210 ratings are, they are currently 20% better then Nikita’s. and again they are terrible ratings.
how does nikita lose 40% of its demo from last episode??? crazy…
@William
I assume you’re the actor who portrays Reba’s Ex or his agent? Week after week you make the same type of posts multiple times. At this point, even if I had agreed with you, I’d say never, EVER bring the Ex back again … and if they have to do it, find a new actor and make it just a short visit.
ymmv
S0303
Easily, Nikita most likely had inflated numbers due to the winter storm, the last time it aired. Ie bad storms mean less people going out.
What’s more depressing though, is that Nikita is down 40% year to year. I didn’t realize that up to this point the lowest Nikita had scored was a .5 (besides reruns of course).
ALso while I do knock on Nikita’s ratings because they are bad (doesn’t mean that others aren’t also bad), I actually like Nikita, and I think its unfortunate that the show never really managed to get a sustainable US audience.
So glad that Shark Tank continues to perform well. Been a fan since it started.
Also in agreement about Malibu Country; Reba’s other sitcom was pretty corny, too, but this one just feels like a retread, sans the ex-husband, at times. Is it the same writers from the previous show?
What is this demo you speak of? I only see a 1.24. Kidding but in all seriousness it makes no sense. 90210 gets a 0.2 but a viewership of 0.67. Nikita beats even Carrie in viewership.
@Noel
Kidding but in all seriousness it makes no sense.
A larger portion of Nikita’s viewers are older adults (50+) compared to the other CW dramas. Advertisers buying space during broadcast primetime are not willing to pay for those older viewers.
