The Following rose last week to a 2.9 after the previous week's tumble to a 2.4. Could the freshman drama rise again tonight, or do you think it will fall like it did two weeks ago? Make your predictions below and let us know your thoughts in the comments!

Perhaps “The Following” is (“Holy Bad Puns, Batman!”) gaining a following.

With the way it ended in a cliff-hanger, I think it’ll tick up 0.1-0.2

if it rises, then maybe instead of Alcatraz, its more like Person Of Interest (which kept on rising S1)

  • American

    Around the same number.

  • Samuel

Realistically I’ll say it will pull a 2.7, but I do want it to push a 3.0.

It’s an entertaining show with a lot of potential and I believe Fox would be idiots to let it go, so I hope it continues to stay above a 2.3 because I can see Fox being pretty happy with that.

The other networks all have pretty girl/girly-oriented shows at 9pm so since it doesn’t completely suck, you would think those who like less girly stuff would watch this (or switch to cable)? So I’d say it should be steady in the 2.8 to 3 range?

I think it will stay consistent.

The episode last week was amazing (as well as every episode) so i think it should go on to a 3.0 hopefully more.. Amazing show

Wonder if 90210 will fall any further?

Hope it at least stays the same, but an up would be great! Good show!

Will go down again for sure, but not as low as 2.4

  • CBSviewer

2.7 Best new drama of the year :)

  • Leo

It’s not that great of a show, no need to overrate it people.

  • Rick

With the way it ended last week, I have to believe that most viewers will return tonight. I’d expect the same number or slightly higher.

Left on a good note last week… I’ll say 2.8

  • The End

Personally I was dissapointed when I found out the story will carry over to Season 2 and won’t be resolved by seasons end, at least not in a way that we’d all expect.

As much as I like the show, I don’t agree with dragging out a story over multiple seasons, at least not one with such a weak premise.

Let’s see how everything plays out anyway.

I enjoy the show, but I don’t think last week’s much of a cliffhanger. Joe’s followers aren’t going to kill Ryan, so let’s put someone else in danger.

The show is going at too fast a pace. The first episode could’ve been dragged out over 2 or 3 to heighten the suspense. If the son is returned to the Mom in the next few episodes, then what? Joe’s followers kidnap the Mom? She’s the only other emotional attachment that anybody might’ve formed to a character.

I don’t think it will rise tonight, as the Oscars had lots of promo for the Bachelor tonight.

    2.6 is my guess

I think it’ll do a 3.0 (i hope a 3.1 though). Cliffhanger last week and the show has proved to be quite solid.

  • MichaelChickless

    Gunnin’ for 3.0!

  • John A

    2.7 too.
