Hey, Rat–where are your accomplishments? None?? I thought so…..
Trivial Fact Department:
Out of 226 posts on Friday 78 were from 1 poster.
Of the 78 posts most of it was drivel and negative and not worth the time to read or try to follow their thought process.
Hopefully in the future this poster will try to contribute to rational discussions in a positive light but until then I’ll just ignore anything they post.
Just my opinion.
Hey, Rat–anyone who can post the bubba absurdities you did should be able to list the accomplishments of the right wing. I am waiting…..if you dare…..
Liberal Commentator Lambastes Obama’s Oscars ‘Intrusion’ During Piers Morgan Interview: It Had a ‘Monarch Quality’ and an ‘Elitist Flavor to It’
First Lady Michelle Obama’s appearance at the Oscars is still creating some buzz. Interestingly, while conservatives have widely decried her announcement of the Best Picture at the year’s most important entertainment awards ceremony, it seems some liberals have also joined in the mix.
On Monday night, television personality Donny Deutsch appeared on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight,” where he lambasted Obama’s participation in the show, calling her an “uninvited guest” and an “intrusion.”
When asked by Morgan if the first lady should have been included, Deutsch said, “absolutely not.” His main argument hinged on the notion that Obama was essentially an unwelcome political intrusion. At an event that focuses exclusively upon entertainment and film, he argued that she added an unneeded political dynamic to the evening.
“As far as I’m concerned, she was an uninvited guest,” Deutsch said. “Now what I mean by that is, you have to give the consumer, the viewer, the ultimate respect. They have tuned in to watch movie stars, to watch movies. And all of a sudden, politics is thrown at them.”
He went on to say that the tone was also unpalatable. Describing himself as a Democrat in an effort to showcase that his views aren’t rooted in political bias against the first lady, Deutsch said that Obama’s brief speech had a “monarch quality” and an “elitist flavor to it.”

GAO Report: Obamacare Adds $6.2 Trillion to Long-Term Deficit
Obamacare will increase the long-term federal deficit by $6.2 trillion, according to a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report released today.
Senator Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.), who requested the report, revealed the findings this morning at a Senate Budget Committee hearing. The report, he said, “confirms everything critics and Republicans were saying about the faults of this bill,” and “dramatically proves that the promises made assuring the nation that the largest new entitlement program in history would not add one dime to the deficit were false.”
President Obama and other Democrats attempted to win support for the health-care bill by touting it as a fiscally responsible enterprise. “I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits — either now or in the future,” Obama told a joint-session of Congress in September 2009. “I will not sign it if it adds one dime to the deficit, now or in the future, period.”
The new report exposes the “lack of honesty” surrounding such claims

Juan Williams: Black voices dismissed as ‘not really black’ [VIDEO]
In an interview with The Daily Caller, political analyst and Fox News contributor Juan Williams said that black voices in America speaking in opposition to liberals are shunned and marginalized.
“Ignore him, he’s not really black because he says says things,” Williams said.
Williams highlighted Bill Cosby and the backlash that Cosby received after questioning civil rights groups, saying, “All of a sudden, he’s to be dismissed … he has personal issues, or somebody said something about him and they try to put him down, stick him in a corner, dismiss him as your crazy uncle. That to me is what is so damaging. People understand that it is illegal to have an honest conversation. That you should not say certain things.”

‘Statist propaganda:’ Michelle Obama slammed for using military as ‘props’ during Oscars appearance
First lady Michelle Obama is under fire after she appeared as a long-distance award presenter on the Oscars Sunday evening, flanked by active-duty American service members.
The well-dressed members of the military stood attentively behind the first lady inside the White House as she presented the award for best picture to the movie “Argo.”
Rubin wrote that the military personnel were used as nothing more than “props” for the first lady to “intrude” on American entertainment.
“Should our troops be used as Michelle’s Oscar props?” wondered conservative radio host Laura Ingraham Monday morning.
And a man who was once responsible for all public relations in the Department of Veterans Affairs said the use of the military may have crossed an ethical line.
Ed Timperlake — a former Marine fighter pilot who served as an assistant secretary in the Department of Veterans Affairs under President George H.W. Bush — told The Daily Caller in an interview Monday that using the military as “window dressing” for a commercial event almost certainly “crossed the line” into “statist propaganda.”

Black Chamber of Commerce CEO on Obama: ‘I had hopes because he was black, shame on me’ [VIDEO]
National Black Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Harry C. Alford told The Daily Caller that he ”ignored” President Obama’s “spread the wealth” comment in 2008 and “had hopes” for him “because he was black.”
“I don’t really support him too well and he knows it and that’s a badge of honor. He’s bad. He’s bad and I supported him. I voted for him the first time around. I had hopes because he was black. Shame on me,” Alford told TheDC at the National Press Club after an anti-gun control news conference.
“Then when he started doing all these executive orders, banning right-to-work and other things, hurting my members, my constituents. I had to back off. I had to represent my people.”

ESPN host: MacFarlane hosted Oscars because Academy is tired of blacks [AUDIO]
On “The Tony Kornheiser Show” on ESPN 980 AM in Washington, D.C. on Monday, ESPN “Pardon the Interruption” co-host Michael Wilbon said Seth MacFarlane was only allowed to host the Oscars because the Academy is tired of blacks.
“I don’t like him,” Wilbon said. “Why is he there? He’s not worthy of being there. … They got tired of famous black people, so they got to get a white guy — affirmative action Academy Awards host? Is that what this is about? Really?”
The last black Oscars hosts were Chris Rock in 2005 and Whoopi Goldberg in 2001.
“I don’t like MacFarlane,” Wilbon continued. “He is a joke. He is not worthy of the people that were up there last night.”
