3/4 Update: No surprises as The Following, New Girl, The Mindy Project & Raising Hope were all renewed.

If you've got the sense that there's not much new I can think of to talk about with Fox show futures this week, you'd be right.
After two successive weeks of 0.7 adults 18-49 ratings for Touch, it is stone cold dead. Treat its Fan Excuse Bingo players with pity. Or derision. At your personal discretion.
The Mindy Project ratings still have it positioned as likely to be renewed.
Where the heck is The Goodwin Games anyway? Other than an episode order reduction from 13 to 7 by Fox already, there's been no more news about it.
The Cancellation Bear will twiddle his thumbs (such as his paws have) and wait.
Better to Follow The Bear, Than Be Chased By Him. This season you can follow the Cancellation Bear on Twitter via @TheCancelBear. *shows no longer on the air have their Renew/Cancel Index "frozen" at the point they left the schedule.
From now through the end of the broadcast season in May, the Renew/Cancel Index values will only be calculated using new episodes airing during 2013. However, until new episodes of a show air in 2013, I will keep the "old" Fall predictions in the table.
Notes:
-
- certain to be cancelled by May, 2013 -
- more likely to be cancelled than renewed by May, 2013 -
- toss up between renewal or cancellation by May, 2013 -
- more likely to be renewed than cancelled by May, 2013 -
- certain to be renewed by May, 2013
The Renew/Cancel Index is the ratio of a scripted show's new episode adults 18-49 ratings relative to the new episode ratings of the other scripted shows on its own network. It's calculated by dividing a show's new episode Live+Same Day adults 18-49 average rating by the Live+Same Day new episode average of all the new scripted show episodes on the show's own network. The network's average ratings in the calculation are not time weighted (ex. hour long shows are not weighted twice what 30 minute shows are).
(F) -Fridays: Shows airing on Fridays were renewed with significantly lower than average Indexes.

@JS
It would do much better on another night.
Except that FOX doesn’t have another night available on its schedule. Their scheduling is about what’s best for the network overall, not what’s best for Touch.
@Don
Fox Fall 2013
Sunday
7:30 – The Cleveland Show
All of the currently ordered episodes are scheduled and there’s no way that new epiodes would be ready for the fall. FOX has already picked up a new animated show for midseason, so I can’t imagine The Cleveland Show being on the schedule at all.
Monday
9 – The Following
The Following will be held for midseason; they can’t air it uninterruped with a fall premeire.
Also, six new dramas and no new comedies seems extremely unlikely.
The Mob Doctor* 0.31
Touch (F) 0.43
Fringe* (F) 0.50
……
Hey guys didn’t anyone notice that FRINGE is no longer the lowest rated script show on FOX? Thanks a lot mr. Kiefer Sutherland & miss Jordana Spiro!
LOL
Kill Touch now and get busy on that 24 movie.
This could work
MONDAY
8:00 – Bones
9:00 – NEW DRAMA / The Following
TUESDAY
8:00 – Raising Hope
8:30 – NEW COMEDY
9:00 – Glee
WEDNESDAY
8:00 – The X-Factor / American Idol
THURSDAY
8:00 – The X-Factor / American Idol
9:00 – New Girl
9:30 – The Mindy Project
FRIDAY
8:00 – Kitchen Nightmares
9:00 – NEW REALITY
SUNDAY
7:00 – The Simpsons (R)
7:30 – Bob’s Burgers
8:00 – The Simpsons
8:30 – NEW ANIMATION
9:00 – Family Guy
9:30 – American Dad !
Can you please tell me what you think of my Schedule ?
Well with Fringe done and Touch going away I have nothing a Fox to watch anymore.
Is it a bad sign for Bones that they pushed 2 episodes until next season (that still could have aired this season and not messed up the finale date) and that it’s ending at the end of April instead of in May? Just curious if it means we won’t get a full season next season.
it’s getting very annoying that intelligent shows are constantly dismissed by audiences and anything that smacks of american idol prospers. Says a lot about us as a culture and it isn’t a good thing.
@Sarah
No, just Fox messing around with their schedule. Nothing at all to worry about.
@Sarah – The End is right, plus this season was supposed to have 26 episodes, 2 less episodes this season means 24 for this season and 24 for next season so it balances out well.
fox needs to advertise TOUCH in youtube ads, because it’s pretty good. I dont watch anything else on the network, not even my old fave Family Guy.
@DeanW
I really like it. Great schedule
@The End
Okay, thanks.
and
@Dan
“…plus this season was supposed to have 26 episodes, 2 less episodes this season means 24 for this season and 24 for next season so it balances out well.”
That does makes sense if that’s what happens, but, honestly, I was looking forward to having no breaks until the finale.

DON”T CANCEL TOUCH!!!!!!!! My kids and I will be soooo sad!!!!!!!
I love Touch. I agree in that I hate that people can’t deal with “intelligent” shows and prefer to watch crap like American Idol and Glee. Touch is a great show and they should have made more of an effort to promote it. What a shame. Another great show down the drain. People are so simple minded.
