after that- the hopes for renewel of the carrie diaries are dead
i knew TCD would adjust down im suprised 90210 didnt as well. Happy to see The Following adjust up. Wheres that guy from the previous thread that called it a flop. lol hes got nothing to say now.
Strong numbers for Fox by The Following
bye bye Carrie
TCD is done. Good job Mark Pedowitz!
Haha and a couple weeks back The Carrie Flop got a 0.7 fans were cheering and look it’s just another flop once again hahaha
Not encouraging for Carrie Diaries. But we’ll have to see if HOD and BatB drop as well.
Woo can’t wait for the flop diaries to hit lower,if not it will defiantly stay at 0.4
@Aron
No replacement for Bones for at least 1 year. It was renewed for a season 9 months ago.
CW Monday
Carrie Diaries- 0.4/1.00
90210- 0.3 0.58
TNT 11am Monday
SPN- 0.4/0.96 (Season 5 episode My Bloody Valentine)
Big trouble for TCD. Can both it and BATB go though? HoD should survive…
Every single CBS comedy would be the #1 show on NBC right now, and only Idol and (for now) The Following beat Rules on FOX. I’m amazed the other networks aren’t looking at Rules to fill a sitcom hole for them. Especially NBC.
Personally i think HOD and B&B will survive. It’s what makes sense. As for retentionistas complaints about B&B i’m guessing any show that would go in the post TVD slot is going to struggle no matter what. I think every show on the CW is on it’s own no matter what time slot it’s in. The younger audience just consumes TV differently, they don’t leave the tv on like grandma watching CBS.
TCD and 90210 became a best friend now. keep dropping besties. hope both of you will be canceled.
TCD is done, so is BATB and Cult, depressing that all CW freshmans flopped this year (excluding arrow) there is no way the CW can afford to pick up 6 new shows… HOD and Nikita will be renewed and 90210 will get its final season no matter how low it goes just like GG.. Mark my words, because regardless of how 90210 is doing now, it’s a CW get in its 5th season the CW would be better off giving it a final season rather than wasting money on their new freshman flops for a second season… Yes, 90210 is past it’s prime, but if this were the final season they would have already announced it.. Plus they could make more on syndication, international and DVD sales, iTunes etc…
Did the Carrie Diaries get worse? I don’t watch it but I was surprised to see early on that the numbers were at least decent but the last 2 or 3 weeks has seen a sharp drop. Any ideas as to why?
@Aron why would Fox want to find a replacement for Bones?
@Holly
BATB is on repeats now until March 14th, so you’ll have to wait until then to compare. HOD is new tonight but not sure abt next week.
A lot of adjustments for CBS. Interesting HIMYM and 2BG got the same 3.3 and RoE and M&M got the same 2.7 yet the 8 o’clock shows have less viewers than the 9. Clearly they have different audiences.
I’ve always felt that it seemed that Rules if Engagement has share more if an audience with the Chuck Lorre sitcoms like 2.5 Men and TBBT. Too bad it’s not paired with one of those. Still solid ratings and I hope it does well when it has to air on its own for the next few weeks
@Gaius Bolling: the numbers were always bad. It had one 0.7, but than was an exception.
I still think TCD will be renewed, BATB will drop too, people will forget it’s back. If TCD can stay at this or even go to 0.5 or 0.6, it should be renewed.
