MTV SET TO DEBUT HIGHLY ANTICIPATED THIRD SEASON OF
Teen Wolf ON MONDAY, JUNE 3 AT 10:00 P.M. ET/PT

Fervent Fans Unveil the Premiere Date Through Hashtagart Mosaic Produced by Hyperactivate.com

NEW YORK, NY (February 26, 2013)MTV's  hit scripted series "Teen Wolf" is set to debut the first half of its supersized 24 episode third season on Monday, June 3 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.  Season three will pick up four months after the events that nearly ended Jackson's life and resurrected Peter Hale's, when teen werewolf Scott McCall and his friends Stiles, Lydia and Allison begin their Junior year of high school unaware that a new threat has arrived in Beacon Hills: a deadly pack of Alpha werewolves intent on bringing Derek into their fold.

The premiere date was recently uncovered through a social media fan-frenzy within an exclusive photo from the first episode that revealed the season three premiere date in less than 24 hours. Utilizing Hashtagart Mosaic produced by Hyperactivate.com, within one hour of the mosaic launching on the Teen Wolf Facebook page, the fan-driven application reached more than 10 million people, the hashtag #TeenWolfSeason3 trended worldwide and fans spent nearly double the amount of average time in the application than Hyperactivate’s previous mosaic initiatives.

As previously announced, season three will also feature several new faces in Beacon Hills, including: Ethan and Aiden as twin Alpha werewolves and played by Charlie and Max Carver; Gideon Emery as Deucalion, leader of the Alpha werewolves; Kali, an Alpha werewolf played by Felisha Terrell and Cora, a tough 17-year-old, who has ties to the Beacon Hills werewolf line, played by Adelaide Kane.  This season will also mark the return of series stars Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Dylan O'Brien as Stiles, Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale and Holland Roden as Lydia Martin.
The third season comes on the heels of a highly successful second season in which the show was the #1 cable series among P12-34 in its time period and averaged a 1.6 rating among P12-34, marking a 7-percent increase over season one.

  • Meanie

  • Samuel

Wasn’t this show cancelled or something? Haven’t heard anything about it since the series premiere…

  • halloween

    yes

  • Wright

This show is really good. It actually got a double order renewal with 24 episodes instead of the usual 12.

  • It‘sBroccoli

3 June can’t come soon enough!

I’ll miss Jackson though. Why did you leave, Colton? :C Teen Wolf is a way better show than Arrow!
But let’s look at the bright side instead: 24 episodes!

  • cas

Not sure I will watch with Colton Hayes. He was my eye candy. Plus the shippers for Stiles and Derek were super annoying considering neither of them had come out as being gay yet. But you always have people trying to make things happen that shouldn’t.

  • cas

    without**

  • Walter

    Yes! Love this show!

  • Mike

Does this mean they will split the secon half to June 2014? If so why would they do that

  • panda22

Teen Wolf has been proven to be much better then everyone expected, its very much like TVD, but there is comedy moments….its rather dark and gritty for MTV as well.

  • panda22

@ Mike….yep, people were wondering when the back 12 would air. I always thought they would split the 24 episode “season” over two years, two Summers.

If it aired anywhere in the regular season it would get crushed!

  • Jerry

June 3rd last year, June 3rd again this year will be there to watch Crystal Reed.

  • Ram510

I’m guessing MTV will try a winter run of Teen Wolf and Awkward. It seems a little ridiculous to spread out the episodes over 2 years

And I’m guessing Awkward will start sometime between mid June and July 11th

  • brian I

    Would rather watch Awkward.

  • ann

@panda22 Teen Wolf is a better show than TVD at this point. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it.

  • msupdate

Teen Wolf is an incredible show that has found a great deal of success. I mean, it’s a REALLY good show.

  • joy

Ann,i also watch teen wolf along with TVD,but never found the former better than TVD!!

  • rehabber

    @Cas

I agree, let two people try and be friends and some “fans” want them to jump into a relationship/bed or both. lol No Destiel for me, please.
