    MR USA–wants to know what (the right) republicans have accomplished.Just look at a few states where GOP govenors have been elected in 2010 Corbett in Pennslvania,Kasich in Ohio,Scott in Florida,Walker in Wisconsin,Mcconell in Virginia all made the hard decisions to get their states to recovery–they did the work but the misinformed public gave BHO the credit;just like he is given credit for saving the auto industry,that was initiated by Bush and carried on by BHO–LIke Casey Stengel once said you can look it up.

    @Doug
    do not use cash and pay it every 3 days on line. I get 1-5% back. I even pay utility bills with it . Just for the rebates.

    Hmmm very smart, I may try that with my money market card :-) Just teasing I do that with my Money Market Card as well, it gets points each time I use it. We had enough to get us free hotel nights in Hawaii before we had to cancel the trip.

    Coffee Steve

    I play with cars, motorcycles, and boats. I buy boats and motorcycles going into winter and winter. Nothing big, but keeps me in toys. I have 3 motorcycles and one boat this winter. I make a little money and play.

    Last thing before I get off a bit

    I heard years ago that you can judge an economy by the number of cars at a Wal-Mart parking lot, here lately its been alot less full than I have ever seen it.

    It simply amazes me how anyone can truly believe the economy is getting better and not worse. Now when manufacturing goes up to 3% growth they act like WOW what a growth when before anything less than 7% groeth was
    considered a dismal failure.

    If the economy is doing better then why does the Fed have to pump money into it each month? Of course no media networks will ever ask that question because they would be threatened too.

    Why do many of our favorite liberals on this site run away for the day as soon as they are proven wrong?

    While getting my teeth cleaned my very liberal hygienist surprised me. She asked me how I was doing and I said, pretty good for a person who had to fill up a 30 gallon gas tank and come to the dentist.
    She then went off on gas prices. She blamed Obama, I was shocked. According to her the refineries that are down were closed (stop operating) because the EPA under Obama’s orders increased standards and these refineries did not meet the new standards and the oil companies are saying its to costly to upgrade them, so they have decided not to. And the media isn’t reporting this because they are in love with Obama.
    I’ll quote her now. She said, “I can’t believe I let that King
    George III wantabee fool me.

    50 ?

    We’ve talked about Obamacare’s Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), here before. We have not talked about the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF). This is “an independent group of national experts in prevention and evidence-based medicine.”

    You might remember their first recommendation. In 2009, it encouraged women under the age of 50 to forgo mammogram screening for breast cancer. Only after an outcry from women’s and cancer advocacy groups did Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius beat a hasty retreat, distancing her department from the USPSTF recommendations

    More recently, the USPSTF advised against use of the prostate specific antigen (PSA) test. The routine screening of all men over the age of 50 for prostate cancer . Are the USPSTF’s recommendations are binding? The answer is yes and no. Medicare and other insurers are required to provide treatments or services given an “A” or “B” grade without cost to the patient. The law is silent when it comes to services with grades of “C” or “D,”

    When President Obama had his physical last year, he made an “informed patient request.” Guess what it was? Yes, indeed…he was screened for prostate cancer with a PSA test, in spite of the fact that the USPSTF’s recently published (and well-publicized) draft recommendation statement

    My husband had his 6 month check up today & he knew to ask for PSA screening. His doctor told him the Obamacare audits have started. Great.

    Beechcraft Emerges from Chapter 11 a Stronger Global Company

    but

    Obama Sends 1,400 Manufacturing Jobs & Sensitive Technology to Brazil –

    The Obama Administration awarded the Light Air Support (LAS) contract to Brazilian-based Embraer over Beechcraft; a Wichita Kansas based company with a long history of supplying the U.S. military with aircraft. Had Beechcraft been granted the contract, the company expected to add or sustain 1,400 jobs in the U.S. The Embraer plane, on the other hand, will be primarily built in Brazil, with only about 50 assembly jobs in the U.S.

    “By awarding the contract to the Brazilians, the Administration has failed to give Beechcraft, the American-made aircraft manufacturer vying for the contract, the full and fair consideration that was required during the procurement process. Those jobs here would have been nice.

    This just in (Fox Fake News doesn’t have it yet): Viloence Against Women Acts Passed by House with GOP moderates and dems voting for it and right wing fringe voting against it……

  • usa8888

    dd–Obamacare is already starting to bring down the exorbitant healthcare costs. The GOP is content with increases of 100% every 10 years….

  • Ratboy

    is this working again?

  • Coffee Steve

    @d.d.
    PSA Test

    Yep. It has started as well as many other used to be routine test for diabetics etc. that now are only done every two years or not at all unless requested and paid for by the patient themselves.

    The nightmare has just begun

  • Mikey O

    @USA8888 How do you know the treasury is not printing money ? No One can see the treasury books. Congress didnt approved this where is the money coming from ???

    Yesterday the Fed announced QE 3: an open ended program through which the Fed will purchase $40 billion worth of Mortgage Backed Securities every month until it decides that the world is right again.

    @USA8888 I got it if this is real money why not stop QE for two months have 80 billion to offset the rest of budget reduction set for 2013. This would stop teacher, TSA, border agenstfrom getting layoff, no meat inspectors, planes dropping from the skys, longer kines at airports and children from straving. Why doesn’t Obama do that USA8888 or is obama for the fat cats on wall street while main street burns ??

  • Ratboy

    WOW finally!

    Unfortunatly it is allowing the Dung Beetle to post too

  • Coffee Steve

    @Ratboy
    is this working again?

    Testing 123, testing 123

    I keep getting this Dung on my screen though :mrgreen:

  • usa8888

    Cathy has been fooled again–the refineries are closing to put more money in the pockets. They allege it’s for changing over to summer grade gas, but that’s a ruse. They are bilking the consumers. It’s that simple….

  • Ratboy

    Do you beleive this a$$bag?? He comes up with the idea and they call his bluff and now he wants to fix it by raising taxes!!!
    All he has to do is apply the cuts to the areas that can sustain them and we are done! But not this clown! He wants to keep on spending and saddle the rich with the bill!

    White House issues veto threat on GOP fiscal plan

    WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House is threatening a presidential veto of a Senate Republican measure that would give President Barack Obama more authority and flexibility to find $85 billion in spending cuts this year. The measure is intended to replace the automatic across-the-board cuts scheduled to kick in Friday.

    The White House says it instead backs a Democratic measure to replace the cuts with tax hikes on millionaires and spending reductions over 10 years.

  • Mikey O

    @coffee steve Yes treasury buying 40 billion each month where is this money coming from. Can’t see the feds books so dont know

  • Ratboy

    Here is the VERY VERY VERY simple fix!! Obama orders that there only be two or three grades and much of the additional cost goes away!! You would think even a Dung beetle could figure that out! :shock:

  • Coffee Steve

    @MickeyO

    Yep, and the real fun starts when the fed stops printing the paper and calls it home

    Hyper Inflation

  • usa8888

    Gas prices are up because of a ruse the refiners are using to put more money in the pockets. They say the shutting of refineries is for “change over to summer grade gas.”….they could do this immediately if they wanted to, but they string it out over months to bilk consumers….crude is cheap and there no world wide demand for it..so the oil companies are struggling to find an “excuse” for the price increases….the reason: to bilk the consumer as much as possible. It’s that simple….

  • Coffee Steve

    On gas prices and Oil rising

    If Gas is already at 4 bucks can you imagine what the summer will bring? And if the Pres turns Keystone down (again) boys and girls the price may set all time records and never go back down.

    Gas futures have steadied finally but rermain at all time highs, with the keystone decsion or an outbreak in the Middle East it’s close the doors time for many businesses.
